Top 5 IMO or at least you can make a case for top 5. You got Phil, Red, and Riley ahead of him for sure. Then there are guys like Larry Brown, KC Jones, Chuck Daly, Jerry Sloan, etc., but I'm not sure if any of those guys should be ahead of Popovich. One could make the argument that Pop passes Riley by the time his career is over. Oh I agree. I wrote that more in the sense of "right now" than when his career is over. It's going to be tough IMO considering Riley went to the championship 9 times (winning 5 of them) and 3 Coach of the Year and Popovich has 4 (won all 4 though) and 2 so far. I wonder how much longer will Popovich coach as he's in his mid 60s now.
