  1. There are rumors that Colts/Cowboys were wanting to pick Long in the 1st so he was NOT a reach according to NFL teams/GMs/scouts/etc. I like him better than Pugh who went right before to the Giants. Long kinda reminds me of Nate Solder as that athletic player turned OL who is inexperienced/raw that has a very high ceiling except I think Solder was just strictly an OT (so he had more value than Long). As for Swope, the reason he fell that far is because he had like 4-6 concussions in college. Dude could turn into Jahvid Best. I would be scared to draft him. I think Emery did very well in this draft. I think 4th round was actually going to be a different player, but Greene somehow fell to them and Emery had to pull the trigger on that.
  2. This one got me up to 4100-4200 range. Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 27 (HOU): Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama (A) Round 2 Pick 21 (CINN): Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford (A-) Round 2 Pick 25 (HOU): Datone Jones, DE, UCLA (A) Round 3 Pick 18 (DAL): Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina (A) Round 4 Pick 20: B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary (A) Round 4 Pick 27 (HOU): Brian Schwenke, C, California (A) Round 5 Pick 20: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State (A) Round 6 Pick 20: Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma (A) I did another where I just kept trading back every couple picks until I finally had enough of trading back. Basically ended up with like half of the 3rd round picks. Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 15 (DAL): Datone Jones, DE, UCLA (A) Round 2 Pick 26 (DEN): Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford (A) Round 2 Pick 28 (ATL): Kyle Long, OT, Oregon (B-) Round 2 Pick 29 (S.F.): Markus Wheaton, WR, Oregon State (B-) Round 3 Pick 3 (DET): Robert Alford, CB, Southeastern Louisiana (B+) Round 3 Pick 7 (ARI): Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina (B+) Round 3 Pick 12 (S.F.): Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International (A) Round 3 Pick 15 (MIA): Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff (B) Round 3 Pick 16 (STL): Barrett Jones, C, Alabama (A) Round 3 Pick 18 (DAL): Jon Bostic, ILB, Florida (A) Round 3 Pick 28 (DEN): Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU (A) Round 3 Pick 29 (N.E.): Zaviar Gooden, OLB, Missouri © Round 3 Pick 31 (S.F.): Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia (C-) Round 4 Pick 20: Brian Schwenke, C, California (A) Round 4 Pick 28 (DEN): Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina (A) Round 5 Pick 20: Zac Dysert, QB, Miami (Ohio) (A) Round 6 Pick 20: Zach Line, FB, Southern Methodist (A-)
  3. New Glarus is really good, as is Lakefront. Anyway, I'm going to stop derailing this thread! Mmmmm... New Glarus. Is Fat Squirrel still around?
  4. I got 4100 this morning. I got Ogletree, Eifert, and Warford all in the 2nd round then Zach Ertz, Sly Williams, and Terrence Williams in the 3rd then Barrett Jones in the 4th. Then other picks as well. It just seems like if you want really high points total (4000+), you get the BPA (out of the best value list) each pick. Doesn't matter if you get 3 WRs or whatever. You also need to gain a couple more picks if you're the Bears to get that high.
  5. I know I will have to bow out either way. I will be gone for a week starting Weds. I'll try to check in from time to time, but I don't want to slow things down either.
  6. Finished my draft. I traded the 20th and 50th pick for 31st, 34th, 61st, and 93rd. Then traded the 34th for the 38th and 69th. Here are the picks. Round 1 Pick 31 (S.F.): Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama (A) Round 2 Pick 6 (ARI): Arthur Brown, OLB, Kansas State (B) Round 2 Pick 29 (S.F.): Markus Wheaton, WR, Oregon State (B-) Round 3 Pick 7 (ARI): Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State (B+) Round 3 Pick 31 (S.F.): Leon McFadden, CB, San Diego State (A-) Round 4 Pick 20: Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina (A-) Round 5 Pick 20: Brian Schwenke, C, California (A) Round 6 Pick 20: Chase Thomas, OLB, Stanford (A)
  7. Make me Bears GM, obviously. Got an interesting situation here.... It’s the Bears turn and got an offer from 49ers: 20th and 50th pick for 31st, 34th, 61st, and 93rd Some of the players left on the board for the Bears: Olgetree, Werner, Warmack, Ansah, Cooper, Te’o, and Richardson. Do you pick one of these guys or do the trade and hope one of these guys make it to 31st? Just curious as to what you guys would do here. I can see both side on this and right now I’m leaning towards the trade as an extra 2nd and 3rd outweighs drafting a stud like Warmack.
  8. Make me Bears GM, obviously. First try as Bears GM... Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 30 (ATL): Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina (A) Round 2 Pick 10 (MIA): Manti Te'o, ILB, Notre Dame (A) Round 2 Pick 21 (CINN): Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford (A-) Round 2 Pick 29 (S.F.): Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State (B+) Round 3 Pick 19 (NYG): Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State (B-) Round 3 Pick 26 (G.B.): Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina (A) Round 3 Pick 30 (ATL): Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M (C+) Round 3 Pick 32 (BALT): Zaviar Gooden, OLB, Missouri (C+) Round 4 Pick 14 (MIA): Brian Schwenke, C, California (A) Round 4 Pick 20: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State (A-) Round 4 Pick 31 (S.F.): D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina (A) Round 4 Pick 32 (BALT): Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina (A) Round 5 Pick 21 (WASH): Reid Fragel, OT, Ohio State (A) Round 5 Pick 29 (WASH): Sanders Commings, CB, Georgia (A) Round 6 Pick 23 (WASH): Zach Line, FB, Southern Methodist (A) The crazy part is I traded 2- 5th and 2- 6th for the 4th- 20th pick to draft EJ Manuel so I could've had even more picks. This is a great way to pass time though.
  9. Since Patriots have no problem doubling down on a position... Patriots select Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M
  10. I'm hoping for a 62 and a new Masters 18 hole record.
  11. It's so true. They just said the rules officials originally said no harm no foul but last night a viewer, just a fan, called the club after an interview Tiger gave to espn. Crazy. Can you just call up Augusta and say hey, that guy cheated!? And I can't believe it takes a fan to do that for something to happen. Bingo... and it was like at 10 PM when that fan called in so like 3-4 hrs after Tiger have been finished with his round. It's disgusting how Masters officials been handling things so far this week. They should've caught what Tiger said in the interview like immediately and give him the penalty before he got to sign that scorecard. Don't get me started on the Guan ordeal. Do the officials realized he played with a guy who shot a 80 and 84? I know it was Ben Crenshaw, but those scores are going to slow your group down.
  12. Yeah I agree. Plus he's close to MJ in career pts (710 pts to get to #3 all time) that he'll come back just to pass MJ. No way he'll just stop short unless he PHYSICALLY can't do it.
  13. I wonder just how pissed off he is right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see him birdie 2 of the last 3 holes now after that.
  14. I know Bears traded this pick, but I'm just curious as to what you guys think who they would pick if they still had it?
  15. I've been wondering about that as well. I know he won Juniors World in record fashion, but Tiger didn't get into the Masters until he was 19 and already won 3 straight U.S. Junior Amateur and 2 U.S. Amatuer. I know he did great in the first round and possibly will make the cut, but it almost "feels" like a PR move and get more viewers from the Asian market.
  16. It seems his whole game is just a "touch" off today. He's just plodding along. I was hoping he would shoot anywhere from -2 to -4 today so he's right where I expect him to be. Although I wasn't expecting to see a -6 today. It's going to be interesting to see when the weather/course get drier and faster after today.
  17. Maybe that's how they do it in Cuba?
  18. Well... I was thinking of possibly getting this guy in the first for the Pats, but he made it all the way here in the 2nd. Kawann Short, DT, Purdue
  19. New England select DeAndre Hopkins.
  20. I'm hoping for a Tiger/Phil showdown over the weekend. It would be nice to see that one last time at a major. Another guy who is having a good year so far beside Sergio is Justin Rose. My dark horse pick (and I mean dark horse if you looks what he has done at the majors in his career) is Bill Haas.
  21. Patterson or Trufant IMO. Fluker doesn't make sense whatsoever. Eifert "could" if Trestman is thinking about using a 2 TE set, but he got Evan Rodriguez already. Sleeper pick could be Datone Jones, Justin Hunter, or Tank Carradine?
  22. Darn... I was hoping a Jumbotron that wrapped around the entire OF bleachers and become the world's biggest Jumbotron. Just to piss off the rooftops.
  23. How is this years draft class shaping up??? Compare to the last couple years? I haven't exactly been following much college bball this year. Would be interesting to see if LeBron does come back... Got Irving,Waiters,Thompson, and Zeller plus the 4 picks that you mentioned and probably another lottery pick the following year. Varejao will be on his last year of his contract I believe, but he's most likely gone to make cap space for LeBron.
  24. I just realized the Wizards are 22-16 since their 4-28 start with wins over OKC, ATL, DEN (x2), CHI, LAC, NY, BRK, LAL, MEM They aren't bad. Basically when John Wall came back.
  25. the par 5 12th? I was thinking that if he makes that putt, the old Tiger is back.
