  1. Bingo... it gave Pops time to draw up a play.
  2. If Danny Green was 30% from 3 pts in this series, Spurs wouldn't have much of a chance either. See... I can do it too.
  3. Here you go... He's a super famous astrophysicist. http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/watch-out-we-got-a-badass-over-here.gif
  4. No [expletive]?? Well I would certainly hope so. What could possibly be better than a 4 HR in 4 ABs game?
  5. Bingo... Go ahead and get close to LeBron. He'll just blow by you, just like MJ would.
  6. My top 5 would be... 1. Soler 2. Baez (pure upside and position over Bryant) 3. Bryant 4. Almora 5. Johnson ask me tomorrow and my 2-4 could change (I could say 2a/2b/2c to make it easy), but I'm pretty comfortable with Soler at #1 and Johnson at #5 at the moment. Then I probably got Alcantara/Vogelbach at 6/7 although I don't really do an actual top 10 until the halfway point in the season.
  7. That and LeBron going to the rim/getting 8 FTs already in the first half.
  8. It's over. This is the game where Allen hit six 3s or more.
  9. Glad to see a new member. Can anyone tell me how his D is at both SS or 2B? I can't find much on that or I missed it whenever someone talks about it on here. I do like how his bat is progressing every year and making me a believer.
  10. Is there any room left on the Alcantara bandwagon?
  11. Usually when Stern comments on something he means business. Anderson officially suspended for Game 6. Def. the right move. Anderson should've been ejected in the last game and probably be suspended for Game 6 as well. I like the energy he brings for the Heat and being an enforcer, but the dude is just too wild and goes too far at times for no freakin' reason. What was the point with pushing Hansbourgh? Seems like he's getting crazier as the playoffs goes on.
  12. Every teams' helmet should be in a matte finish IMO. It just looks a lot nicer/cleaner and not so much glare.
  13. Not really IMO. He was "the guy" at Toronto and not much else. You put him on any good team and he is what he should be... a good 2nd/great 3rd option on offense. I know some people used to compare him to KG when he was at Toronto, but Bosh really has no post game and his defense always been meh to me.
  14. According to "Baseball Tonight" there are only 3. Only 3 that hit a HR from each side of the plate in a 3 HR game.
  15. So... is #2 SP considered a TOR guy? As much I love Appel, I still don't see him as a bonafide #1 ace. His stuff is still too "hit-able". He did make a jump this year in K/9, but I wanna see what it'll be in AA or even AAA before he gets to MLB. I def. would put Soler over him right now and possibly Almora/Baez as well depending on how I feel about potential upside that day. Some days I would put Appel #4 (if Cubs did get him in the draft) and some days #2, but Soler is #1 for me right now.
  16. I thought it was the right move. On plays like that, there's not gonna be a Heat player near the paint except for the guy with the ball driving to the basket if possible. Hibbert can't defend anyone outside of paint (he would've been guarding Bosh on that play who was about 15 ft away from the basket). Not to mention that it's an out of bounds play so there are screens/picks so you most likely would have to switch defenders so you don't leave a guy open and you don't want to leave Hibbert on LeBron or Ray Allen. Hibbert had 5 fouls and say he was able to try to block LeBron on that layup if LeBron kept the ball instead of passing it to a WIDE OPEN Bosh, refs would've called a foul if there was any contact (esp. since they called a foul on Wade on the play before that refs usually don't call on). Also it was like 1.7 sec from the time LeBron got the ball and it left his hand. Hibbert would've had to been right next to the paint to even contest that shot in 1.7 secs. Even if he was 2 steps from the paint, he wouldn't have got there in time IMO. George just over defended on that play and that's all LeBron needed. It was an awesome game and it should be a great series. It should go 6 or 7 games.
  17. Bingo... I wish they would move around on draft night. Like every year they would move to a city with a NFL team and host the draft in that city. I'm tired of seeing the freaking Giants/Jets fans there just booing EVERYTHING every single year.
  18. I saw that but I don't follow the idea. How exactly could they acquire more pool space? Is this the trading of picks that was added as part of the new CBA? Does anyone know how that works? I suppose if the trading of picks didn't include the additional money that could come with the picks then it would actually hurt to the team, so the additional money would have to be included. Does that apply to just the international portion of the draft or can it apply to the US amateur portion as well? IFA and the US draft pool space are 2 separate things. I believe each club can acquire up to 50% of their IFA space? I want to say that I read somewhere that Cubs could realistically have just over 6 mil in IFA (also not counting the % overage without taking a penalty). You can do that by doing trades. I believe you can trade a player for cash/PTBNL and that cash could be IFA pool $$ IIRC. Someone can correct me as this is just going off by memory. There's no picks in IFA. IFA is not a draft. That's probably why you're not following the idea there. There's not an international draft... yet. Now the US amateur draft... when you trade for a comp. balance pick, you also get the slot money that goes with it and same thing if you trade the pick, you lose the slot $ that goes with it. Nobody in the US amateur draft gets more or less than what they are slotted for all of their picks (not counting the 5% overage or more if you want to take the penalty). EDIT: Raisin beat me to it. 19. My guess is that the May 15th date would be after most colleges' graduation and then the players can immediately go to camp/OTAs/etc...
  20. Must be nice. That's pretty much my brother's range with those clubs although we both use 54/58. I hit my 58 from 110 so anything closer than that is a shorten swing.
  21. Nice. I have a 1 and 3 Titleist 909 hybrid. LOVE my 1 hybrid. Use it off the tee when there's a tight/narrow fairway or when it's really windy as I hit a very low flight with a slight draw.
  22. 19.. 3/4 hybrid or 5 wood? My brother used to play MP- 32, but he changed to JPX- 825 pro this year and love them.
  23. That's true although I don't think he used it much the past 2 yrs or so with those Nike 3/5 woods that he hit so well with. I was just saying the 2 iron because Merion is a short course (by PGA standards and just shy of 7,000 yds I believe after all the work they did for this years US Open) so it will be similar to Sawgrass and any courses for the Open Championship. Merion will be interesting though. Check out the hole by hole yardage. 1 - Par 4 350 Yds 10 - Par 4 303 Yds 2 - Par 5 556 Yds 11 - Par 4 367 Yds 3 - Par 3 256 Yds 12 - Par 4 403 Yds 4 - Par 5 628 Yds 13 - Par 3 115 Yds 5 - Par 4 504 Yds 14 - Par 4 464 Yds 6 - Par 4 487 Yds 15 - Par 4 411 Yds 7 - Par 4 360 Yds 16 - Par 4 430 Yds 8 - Par 4 359 Yds 17 - Par 3 246 Yds 9 - Par 3 236 Yds 18 - Par 4 521 Yds Par 36 3,736 Yds Par 34 3,260 Yds
  24. Not only that. He was hitting high, low, fade, draw, whatever he wanted to do really. It's just incredible. US Open should be fun to watch. I wonder if Tiger will even have a driver in his bag (if not, he could bring back that 2 iron that he was so awesome with back in the day).
  25. Two, but why let facts get in the way of your argument. http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com/2013/04/concussion-worries-drop-texas-ams-ryan-swope-to-the-hands-of-arizona-cardinals-in-sixth-round.html/ Dude has no fear and will go across the middle with velcro hands. If AZ ever gets a QB Swope could have a nice career with Fitzgerald taking all the attention from the DB's. http://arizonasports.com/40/1630387/Cardinals-take-Texas-AM-WR-Ryan-Swope And I have seen other articles saying "multiple" concussions/head injuries. You don't usually say multiple when it's 2. In any case, having at least 2 concussions already is not good for any player that is coming into the NFL and that's the main reason why he fell. That and he was overhyped based on his 40 time. With that being said, I hope he does well, stay healthy, and have a long career.
