Huh? What does that mean? I'm not really sure. I've heard reports that some of the world's brightest minds are working on figuring out what the phrase 'Cubs win' means. Not sure how long it is going to take though.

Amen. Spending money does not gaurantee a winning club. True. But spending money should not produce a team that is competing for the #1 draft pick.

I won't eat crow yet. Really close though. He's earned a spot in next year's rotation, very litle doubt about that. I've got my crow marinading right now.

Dusty better have somebody up in the pen in case Hill falls apart this inning. He had 98 pitches through the 5th inning. No need to run up his pitch count in a 7 run game.

I looked at the results and I have myself at 5-9 right now and not 4-10. I bolded the games I got correct. If I missed something, please correct me. And I would be in favor of getting universal lines each week. It doesn't matter where it's from as long as we are all basing our picks off of the same spreads.

Wow, I didn't realize he was 30 years old already. He's put up solid numbers for a SS, last year was a great year for him. He's a career .300/.343/.795 and is sitting at .311/.352/.805 this year. I think it would take a little more than Marshall and Izturis, but it might be worth looking into. I've always been a Michael Young fan as well but didn't know/think he was 30 years old. -
I know there were some photoshopped pictures with brooms in there instead of Barrett's bat that people posted back when the sweep happened. Don't know who posted them though.

I would love to see Maddux make one more start at Wrigley as well.
