Announcer says the Cardinals weren’t respecting the power to RF from Madrigal because they were playing in. I wasn’t aware Madrigal had power to any field.

Oh good even more summer games for more teams to tire more of the top players out. That expanded Club World Cup is very dumb.

They shitty division certainly helps too. Rather than being 8.5 back of Arizona or 11 back of Atlanta, we’re only 3.5 back, which at least provides some hope of getting into the playoffs.

Miami is 18-5 in 1 run games. Cubs are 7-11. Cards are 8-16.

Seems fitting for the game to end early because the Mexican fans are going their homophobic chant again. If FIFA/CONCACAF had balls (they don't) they'd boot Mexico from the Gold Cup.

The Cubs got 6 runs in the 6th inning on 5 singles and 3 walks. For the game they had 10 runs with only 1 extra base hit, which was a double.

The longest current MLB win streak is 7 games by none other than the Oakland A’s. Did it against Pit, Mil and TB too so it’s not like it was against awful teams.

Lol at the refs. Butler goes up for a 3, clearly kicks his leg forward, hits Gordon in the nuts and Gordon gets called for a foul. They review it and uphold the call claiming it was Butler’s natural motion. Gordon didn’t even go through the leg either. He was standing there and Butler felt the contact and went down.
