  1. I mean they did score 12 runs that one game against the Rockies. Oh wait it was 12 runs total in 3 games. Nevermind then.
  2. I mean he’s been playing for the Angels. We’re a much better spot than that.
  3. Can't review fair/foul on the infield? How the horsefeathers does that make sense?
  4. I love him but I bet Javy did that once or twice for us. Willy I seem to remember sometimes being overly aggressive in a walkoff spot too.
  5. Ugh. Had some hope for that fly ball when it was in the air.
  6. It definitely ends the games quicker on average. But like you I don't like it either and never will.
  7. Well this guy has a 5.4 ERA. Maybe we can get multiple runs off him.
  8. It's cool, guys. Shutdown reliever Drew Smyly might be coming in.
  9. Please get another big hit, Gomes. We could really use it.
  10. abuck gonna abuck just like always. Just go away. You’re just a complete troll at this point and you bring nothing of value to any thread.
  11. Maybe they’re waiting until they get home field locked up. As long as they go hard through Sept 20, that’s all I care about.
  12. If you took Matt Olson and his 51 HRs off the Braves, they would still be leading the league in home runs by a team. Braves have 282 and the Dodgers are second with 227.
  13. Assuming they don’t shuffle it at all, Burnes, Woodruff and Peralta are scheduled to go the 27th-29th. Houser would go the 30th and Miley would go the 1st. The Brewers are off on the 25th so they could skip Miley. That would set Burnes up to pitch the 26th and 1st if necessary. But then we wouldn’t see Woodruff or Peralta and would only get Burnes if Game 162 matters. So it looks like we’d only see 1 of those 3 guys no matter what. If the Brewers clinch by the 29th and still start Peralta, he probably doesn’t go a full 100 pitches either.
  14. LOL. This entire portion is absurd. It's so absurd that I almost think you're joking. Except I'm like 99% sure that you're not. He's not a "good" QB prospect anymore and was overrated to being with. His college resume includes one good season. The other two he threw a total of 23 TDs in 18 games. That he dominated two bowl games is irrelevant. You know who else dominated a bowl game? Jamarcus Russell. How did that one turn out. Also, those three games were against Group of 5 teams that went 7-6, 10-5 and 6-4. It's hilarious that you think his 30 game sample of a completion percentage in college matters when we've got a 22 game sample in the NFL that is significantly worse. The Jets have talent on their roster. Just not at the QB position.
  15. In a nutshell it’s perfectly fine being negative sometimes or not being happy with the team losing 2 of 3 to the worst team in the NL or losing 5 of 7. However, you also basically never post anything positive so the constant stream of negativity is insufferable. Then there is your seemly complete confusion as to why some people might want to be a little more level headed about things and look at the bigger picture. You post like the Cubs are on pace to win 70 games and are simply playing out the string.
  16. Congrats on throwing up the abuck signal. I’m sure he’ll be back in no time to chime in.
  17. Sutcliffe in between pitches wondered if, after making outs on the bases last night, that Ross would put the stop sign for Nico on stealing. Next pitch is a CS.
