  1. They basically have to go nuts from 3 to have a chance of winning. 3 of the 4 wins over Boston they were 50% and in Game 2 over Denver they were at 48.6%. Games 1, 3 and 4 they were between 31% and 33%.
  2. Pretty shocking seeing Lukaku miss a glorious chance in a big game. Oh wait, it's not surprising at all.
  3. Jokic with a soft 5th foul with the Nuggets up 10 with 9 minutes left. The crew chief tonight? None other than The Extender himself, Scott Foster.
  4. Jokic also put up a 30p, 20r, 10a game which is the 5th in playoff history. He’s got 3 now. Wilt and Kareem did it once each.
  5. That one really bugged me. Lefty gets brought in specifically for Ohtani. There's two outs and three of the five pitches aren't even close. You've got to throw strikes there and if Ohtani beats you, oh well. But you can't walk him on 5 pitches in a situation where you're stuck with a lefty pitching to Trout right after.
  6. The Mets chose … wisely?
  7. First title for Antwerp since 1957. Pretty crazy. And the team that was top going into the 89th minute hasn't won since 1935. Sounds like a pretty wild few minutes.
  8. 7th game this postseason they’ve made 14+ 3’s while shooting at least 45% from 3. Unsurprisingly they’re 6-1 in those games.
  9. Seriously. You know it’s a force play so the runner is going right to the bag. No reason to be in that position.
  10. I thought he was safe too. Awful position by the ump being behind the catcher. He needs to be on the side to get a good view.
  11. Well that was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.
  12. It means they’re trying to get you to buy tickets before Messi announces he’s going to Saudi Arabia.
  13. And not even the weirdest thing to happen the last two days because the A’s beat the Braves twice.
  14. Well that was an enjoyable watch. I'm both shocked and not shocked at the result. Shocked because I can't believe Miami bounced back from a devastating Game 6 loss. But not shocked because this Boston team lays eggs from time to time. They couldn't close out a crappy Atlanta team at home in Game 5. They lost at home in Game 1 to Philly who was without Embiid. They got handled at home in Game 5 against Philly with the series tied 2-2. Then this series where they lost the first two at home and then no-showed Game 3.
  15. Tatum has a hurt ankle and Miami is content to just let him sit in the corner on defense every possession. The Knicks did this too when Butler hurt his ankle and I don't understand.
  16. The Cubs have the worst record in the NL which means it's time for this. Also, the A's have a -199 RD. The Royals are only at -76.
  17. Might be time for the Fecal League Standings. If you're not going to do it when the team has the worst record in the NL, when is the good time to do it?
  18. The 2 that come to mind are the 0.4 Fisher shot, though that was only the conference semis, and the Ray Allen shot in Game 6 of Miami-San Antonio since the Spurs probably win the title if he misses that.
  19. Agreed. Philly is a better team than Miami but I felt the same way after Game 6 in that series too. That game was there for the taking for them tonight. Boston didn't play all that well and Miami was 0,2 seconds away from finishing it off.
  20. Ugh box out Miami, come on.
