  1. Russell will be short and Arkansas will get the ball back.
  2. Actually I don't know what that feels like, would you care to inform me? and all that followed in that discussion. Army being rated higher than U of I should play any role in comparing two teams SOS. there's two right there. I can't believe you actually spent the time to look up one statement about the Bears. I'm not even going to waste my time discussing Grossman right now. And I'm unclear on how the second statement is supposed to read because Army isn't rated higher than Indiana. I think you are playing dumb. you know damn well that it was more than one statement about Grossman and you were pretty much dead wrong about him, and you know damn well the point I was making about Army v. Indiana. fine. make it Army and one of UWs nonconference teams. I know I made multiple statements about Grossman but those happened 2 months ago. That's my point. And I don't know the point you are trying to make about Army v Indiana because of the way you wrote it. You know, since what you said and what you wanted to say were two different things. This time, I'm serious. I'm not responding to you on this subject again.
  3. What is going on right now?
  4. I think I may have spoke too soon. I'll shutup now.
  5. I think I may have spoke too soon.
  6. Arkansas might be in trouble now.
  7. Or just run the ball straight up. I'm confused as to why, with 12 minutes left in the game, Arkansas is throwing the ball. They have plenty of time left.
  8. Horrible throw. Actually, on a second look, that ball should have been caught by the receiver.
  9. Can somebody tell me why Casey Dick is still in the game? Is Mitch Mustain really that bad?

  11. McFadden will be fine in a normal NFL offense, imo. I certainly have some questions about Slaton, but he's also a weapon in the passing game which is a good sign. Yeah, I always wonder about the running backs in gimmick offenses but both McFadden and Slaton look good.
  12. Actually I don't know what that feels like, would you care to inform me? ETA: This is obviously a joke.
  13. And that was a horrible read/throw for the pick-6. Did Dixon get hurt? In the Oregon-Arizona recap on ESPN it says Dixon was replaced during that game after he threw three picks.
  14. The only thing I disagree with you there on soccer is Arkansas. Even if they had been rated in the top 10 to start, that blowout loss to USC would have hurt (see what happened to Cal after they lost to Tennessee in much the same fashion). After that, the close games against Vandy and Alabama early in the season would have kept them low in the polls-low enough that this wonderful run would have kept them just about exactly where they are now. They would still have been too far behind teams like USC and Florida to have caught them in the polls at this point. If they start in the top 10 they would still have been in the top 20 after the loss and probably around 15. After beating Auburn they probably would have jumped ahead of Auburn (who fell to 11 in the AP and 10 in the coaches). Then Auburn beat Florida the next week. Auburn moved to 8 and 7 in the polls and Florida fell to 9 and 10 in the polls. Arkansas probably would have been ahead of Auburn and therefore Florida as well. Then as teams ahead of them continued to lose, Arkansas would probably stay one spot ahead of Florida. Either way, on second thought, they probably would only be #4 and still with an outside shot at the National Title game.
  15. Depending on who comes out with him. I'd say top 5 easily. Definitely. Besides AD, there isn't another running back in NCAA right now I'd rate higher than McFadden. After the first few weeks I would have said Garrett Wolfe, but he had a four games stretch against below average opponents in which he stunk it up. Maybe Steve Slaton but McFadden is very good. I'm talking about pro potential here. As such, I don't think Wolfe is anywhere near AD, McFadden, Slaton or Lynch. Ah, in that case I agree with you.
  16. Ryan Leaf's brother, Brady, is playing quarterback for Oregon right now.

  18. No, it's people like you and most of the media that call games like USC-Texas and OSU-Michigan games that featured great offenses but call a Louisville-WVU game a matchup that featured bad defenses. It's a horrible double standard that isn't fair to the Big East. They can play with the power teams. They are programs on the rise. Louisville is in a new, better conference. Wisconsin has been in the Big 10 for years. They aren't trying to improve their prestige while Louisville is so comparing the two programs isn't fair to Louisville. West Virginia was ranked #5 in the preseason and, arguably, was a Steve Slaton injury away from taking down Louisville on the road and still being undefeated. It's absurd that Wisconsin is in the top 10. What have they done to deserve it? The only thing I can think of is because they play in the Big 11. Yes, the rankings are based on where you are ranked in the beginning of the year as well as the prestige of your team. Look at Arkansas. Where do you think they would be ranked right now had they started in the top 5 or even the top 10 this year? They would likely be a spot or two higher and would still have a good shot to make the title game if they won out. But because they started out the year unranked and don't have the history that USC, Michigan, and Florida have, they don't get as much respect as they should. You are clearly a Big 11 homer. That much is obvious. As for Cuse, I think he knows he's a bit biased and he might have admitted it on here at some point. But I wasn't talking about him now was I? Once again, I have no bias though and no affiliation to any team, something I can't say about you.
  19. 5 years 50 million for a 32 year old guy who just had a career year in Texas is a WAY worse deal.
  20. As well they should.
  21. If the Big East teams get beat in the bowl games I will not be making excuses and I would expect you to do the same if the Big East wins. Your complete and total hatred of the Big East is clearly clouding your judgement of the conference and because of this your opinion is EXTREMELY biased. My point of view comes from actually watching the games on the field. I'm not from the east coast and have no ties to any schools out there. I also don't have any ties to any west coast schools seeing as UC Davis is DI-AA. The only team I dislike is Notre Dame but I have the ability to analyze their situation with an unbiased perspective. I think that Louisville and West Virginia are good teams based on what I have seen on the field. I am not the only person who holds this belief. Like I said, if the Big East loses their bowl games, I won't make excuses unless they are justified (i.e. referee screwjob a la Oklahoma-Oregon). I would expect you to admit you are wrong if the Big East wins their games but I know you won't so that effort is futile. The same goes for Wisconsin. After this, I'm done debating you on this topic because of your extreme bias. Get an unbiased point of view and then we'll talk.
  22. Texas goes down.
  23. Texas will get the ball back with around 35 seconds left (depending on a runback on the punt) with no timeouts.
  24. Poor IMB....that one non loss is going to kill him even more now. They still have to beat Oklahoma State to win the Big 12 South but, assuming Texas loses, I don't think it hurt them that much. Oklahoma with one loss is still behind both Michigan and USC and would likely be behind Florida and potentially Notre Dame as well. I don't think a one loss Oklahoma team would have a chance to make the Title game because the Big 12 is so weak.
