    Damn. I wanted the Raiders to sign Garcia in hopes that it would make them rethink their decision to draft Russell #1 overall. Oh well. That's quite a 180 by you. I argued a couple of months ago that the Raiders should trade down and get more picks. You told me I was cur-ray-zee. Don't want to speak for soccer here, but I'm pretty sure he wants Calvin Johnson with the first pick. And is also not enamored by JaMarcus Russell. Bingo. I still don't want them to trade down, I just don't want Russell. If they are going to draft a QB #1 overall, I want them to take Quinn. But if I'm running the team, I draft Johnson #1 and try to get Drew Stanton.

    They're dead wrong!! It's Scott Eyre who's appeared in 163 games with the Cubs just last season alone. :wink: He's so fat that parts of him appear in games he doesn't even pitch? Or each time he goes out it counts as two appearances.

    Wow. Prior is going to be worth $115 million in 2012? What's he going to do over the next couple years to deserve that kind of cash :wink:

    As I said, the announcers came off as total Duke homers. I wanted to see Hansbrough go ape on Henderson. Woulda loved that. Jim Nantz and Billy Packer. Enough said. Billy Packer is terrible. He did the GT/UNC game on Thursday and in the post game said Tech needed to win 2 or 3 more games. Today, he says Tech is a lock. Packer and Nantz will be there all the way through March. Meh. If Packer had his way, the NCAA tournament would only feature teams from the Big 6 conferences.

    Hope Hansbrough is okay. I'm not sure why the announcers insisted that wasn't an intentional foul. The ball was already gone before the Duke player swung.

    Yeah so that didn't happen. Kinda slept through the game. How bad did the Cubs look today?

    I think they should lose just so they can start another 10 game winning streak. I don't think 3 is enough yet.

    Get up early? It's on at 2. Are you like me? I live in California so it's on at noon out here. And yes, that would be early considering the last three days I've gotten up sometime between 1 and 130.

    I see Bruce!!!! Bruce, sticking your tongue out at Lou? That's no way to start a good professional relationship. By the way, that angle has you dwarfing Paul Sullivan. Which one is Paul Sullivan? I'm not familiar with what the Chicago writers look like besides Bruce and Jay Mariotti.

    Following two Arizona free throws, Stanford hits a 3 to tie with 6 seconds left. Arizona misses a shot at the buzzer and we're going to overtime. This would be a huge win for Stanford if they can pull it out.

    OSU down 7 with 8:42 left against Michigan. EDIT: Stanford down 3 with 1:30 left.

    Stanford was down 19 at halftime (it was 20 late in the first half) and has cut the Arizona lead to 6 with 8 minutes to go.

    In ESPN's defense, the Royals wouldn't have received too many votes. We all know Royal fans don't exist.

    It sure would be great it he did. I'll take a .900 OPS out of him any day.

    It sounded like he did all right-he gave up a couple of hits and a run in the second, but he also struck out two in 2 innings and only had 1 hard hit out. 2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 2 K How did we score? Cedeno solo home run, Barrett inside the park home run, Perez sac fly, I forget the other run. Barrett with an inside the park home run? Wow. Did the A's bring the outfielders to the infield for that play?

    Oh I agree. Law is unreal. Ohio State is pretty good too and everyone is sleeping on them. I can see OSU leaving early (Sweet 16/Elite 8-ish). Of course I can think of a way any team could be out early, there's no clear cut leader of the pack this year. They are what 15-1 in the big ten. I love how since you are from the big ten you are the team that will go out early. I think they have grown a lot and will be a very, very tough out. I don't see where Raisin said because OSU is from the Big Ten they will go out early. He also says he could see ANY team going out early this year. I was talking more about how everyone has been saying that. Also how weak the Big Ten is even though we could have two 1 seeds. Ah, ok. All I know is, when the time comes to fill out my bracket, I'm going to have a lot of tough decisions to make.
