  1. This is a formal request. Haha, ok, if you're serious... Thank you. :D It's what the team deserves at this point.
  2. Yep, he's done a good job this year. Now it's up to his teammates to pick him up and score some runs in the 9th. Dempster - ERA after today 3.5+. SOs/IPs = 48/55 Marmol ERA 1.45. 77/56 Saves are misleading. Dempster gets hit hard and doesn't strike out enough guys to be a good closer which is why he is constantly in trouble even when he does get lucky saves. Lucky saves? Is this a stat? Yes, 25 saves with a 3.5 ERA. Does anyone really think that a well ran organization has both Mamrol and Dempster on their team, yet lets Dempster close? Let's see-the Tigers with Jones and Zumaya last year? Yeah the Tigers are well ran. Remember when they traded for Neifi Perez? The other day I went to watch them play the Royals and their other Perez hit 3rd. Remember when they played in the World Series last year? I bet that sucked.
  3. The Brewers' next ten games are against the Pirates and Reds. This season is OVER. I know. We still have to play the Padres, Mets, Phillies, D'Backs... Nevermind. We play the Pirates and Reds too. Stop with these facts you keep spewing out. They're clouding my bad judgement.
  4. The Brewers' next ten games are against the Pirates and Reds. This season is OVER. 13 of the Brewers' next 16 games are on the road where they've shown the ability to lose to just about anybody. It's not over.

  6. You're full of wonderful analysis today.
  7. Cubs aren't getting a hit here. No chance.
  8. So far this year against the Dodgers the Cubs have: - scored 7 runs in the top of the 7th inning to take an 8-5 lead only to allow four runs in the bottom of the 8th to lose 9-8. - have Scott Eyre give up a HR in the bottom of the eight to tie the game at 1. Then in the 11th, Guzman walks two hitters, Marmol intentionally walks another after one of the hitters steals third, and then he hits Pierre to end the game all with no outs. -this game.
  9. I would hardly consider Loney and Ethier to be "skid marks".
  10. Not only is the glass empty, but it's been dropped and shattered on the floor.
  11. Cubs will NOT be hitting again. Fixed your post for you. Do you mean they'll be going down 1-2-3 in the ninth?
  12. Here we go again. IF single for Loney. 1st and 2nd, no outs.
  13. Is this coming as a surprise to anyone? That freaking team could sign Neifi Perez and Jose Macias and drag 100 OPS+ seasons out of both of them, complete with gold gloves. No they couldn't, and Ankiel isn't that big of surprise because we've known all along he could hit. Not like this. To be fair to Ankiel, Mike Fontenot had a 1.101 OPS in June when he came up. Hopefully Ankiel pulls a Fontenot and has a .480 OPS in his second month like Fontenot did in July.
  14. Is this coming as a surprise to anyone? That freaking team could sign Neifi Perez and Jose Macias and drag 100 OPS+ seasons out of both of them, complete with gold gloves. He's now hitting .342 with 8 HR's and 25 RBI's in 24 games this year. He had a 1.061 OPS this year coming into today's game and that just went up.
  15. Thank you 4-3 - swinging at the first pitch.
  16. Scully said 'root for the Cubbies' during the seventh inning stretch. Take THAT Bob Uecker.
