There's no need to take Marquis out right now. Only thrown 75 pitches (coming into Loney's AB) with 50 of them strikes. He's only allowed three hits and hasn't walked any.

I was worried that there would be overreacting in the game thread. I'm glad that's not the case. I honestly don't know whats keeping Jacque Jones from being the worst baseball player in the league. He does some of the most mindblowingly dumb things I've ever seen. I guess he just survives completely on physical ability. Well Neifi Perez is still in the league, right? No way Jacque is worse than him.

That shouldn't be too surprising, the Cubs have given up 10 runs in the six fifth inning so far in September. EDIT: And the 5th has been the worst of the year for Cubs pitchers. They had allowed 91 of 593 runs in the fifth.

Certainly, if not for that comment, Marquis wouldn't have done that. There's no doubt in my mind that HR wouldn't have happened if jaydee didn't make that comment. No doubt. :wink:
