    I was just about to come here and say that the Man United-Sporting game has been a bit of a dud because Man U hasn't done much of anything offensively and then they pull out a very good goal from Ronaldo with a stellar buildup.

    Henne's not starting this week either? not that Morelli is any good, but Henne is second only to Carr for UM's consistent underachievement the past few years. I just assumed that Mallett will be starting. Not sure though.

    Some lame tiebreaking rules in the Women's World Cup. Sweden and South Korea finished tied for second place in Group B with four points but South Korea advances in second place because of a better goal differential (+1 to -1) even though Sweden beat South Korea today 2-1. Lame.

    Both the Brewers and Cubs have 72 losses so one more loss from each team guarantees Andy wins the bet. Well, actually one team would have to lose two games if you count the one game playoff that would happen if both ended with 73 losses which would mean one team would end 90-73.

    I wouldn't count on that at all. Philly is making a run, and the WC is getting really tight. The Pads may have to fight for it. Plus they are only 1 game behind Arizona - and have the same number of losses - in the race for the NL West.
