On the relay, McGehee made a snap throw to Patterson that got away. The broadcasters seemed to think the error would be on McGehee, but the scorer may have thought otherwise. Looks like you're right on the scorer. In the box, it says "missed catch" for the error, so it seems obvious that they charged the error to Eric.

MLB.com says the error is to Eric Patterson, not Casey McGehee. Thoughts?

Zach's ok, great hands, good route-running, ok blocker, horribly slow as the combine showed. But he's a 2nd round prosect and Greg Olsen is easily the first TE off the board.

Soriano missed catch in the OF.

Marquis pitched 3 scoreless, epatt with a 2 rbi double, couple of errors on the cubs. Gooz pitched well. EPatt scored on a 2rbi double by Jones. EPatt does have 2 hits though and a stolen base. Jones had a 2-RBI single, advanced to second on the throw home.

By my count, that's 29 pitches for Gooz.
