The Bears lost TOP by almost 10 minutes. The defense was bending and not breaking but it took so much time we didn’t get the ball much until the latter part of the game. Combine that with the typical offense that doesn’t get going until late, and that was the game.

Collinsworth spends 30 minutes talking about how great Rodgers is and the offense has really come together because of all these night sessions with players. 3 points. The Steelers have 3 points.

I count 3 games where they played good football throughout. Saints, Eagles, Browns. I’ve enjoyed the eff out of this year but BJ &crew have a lot of work to do. I’m sure he would agree with that too.

You get the excitement of knowing your QB will be back even though he’s maxxed out as a high-level backup. I don’t say this as a dig. I say it as a Bear fan with genuine perspective and empathy.

Those original Tampa uniforms were so gaudy, I started to like them after a while because of it. I was disappointed when the modern look came out, not because it was bad but because it was normal. I’ll always like the Broncos old unis better.

I know that my initial reaction was to go get him, but… It would take 2 1st rounders and that’s a lot to put on one guy. We did that with Mack and it really didn’t pay off. I’d welcome him to Chicago without a doubt but I wince at the price. Can Poles effectively stock the roster with quality without 1’s? I’m doubtful.

Sad. Probably true. DL is the issue. We can’t pressure. We can’t stuff. All of us know what good defense looks like. It starts with solid-as-F down 4. It’s an untalented unit.

Bears will not be favored until they establish themselves as a regular playoff team. All those others are playoff regulars. It makes total sense.

Advantage Indiana. Man they wiped the field with Bama. That was something to see. Indiana/Ole Miss championship would be ideal. You’ve got either IU as national champs which is historic and a great story, or you’ve got Ole Miss sticking it in Kiffin’s face which is awesome revenge porn and therefore also a great story.
