  1. Just PCA doing PCA stuff. Lightning strikes twice. What a Cub.
  2. Simply cannot allow Cabrera to blow another game up. Sure the offense sucked too but this Cabrera character ain’t it. I’d much rather throw Assad.
  3. It’s just a terrible weekend all around. I’m glad we won on Friday but these past two days feel ominous.
  4. Lame. Some acquisitions fail. This is one of them. They need wins, and not hand the ball to a guy because he was a high profile offseason move. He shouldn’t get another start.
  5. Whatever is wrong with Tucker seems much deeper than a day’s rest can fix.
  6. Diaz is a complete mess. 2 outs but he has absolutely no idea where the ball is going.
  7. I get that part, but it’s a number. I’m sure lawyers will be fine billing their time but this is just silly.
  8. Kyle Tucker is horrible now.
  9. Day started off bad, I guess it’s not looking like it will end any better.
  10. The Bears went all in on defensive backfield when it became clear they weren’t going to make a leap on the line. Now it looks like that plan is shaky.
  11. You gotta be effing kidding me.
  12. It drives me nuts losing guys to injuries before week 1.
  13. Effing Twinkies load the bases two innings in a row and can’t push a run across.
  14. Yeah that is also why Happ plays. What a catch
  15. Yeah I think he needs some “me” time in the dugout.
  16. He should enjoy that HR because he won’t see many like it.
  17. I’m not going to count championships and try to justify a cap based on whether it’s only rich teams winning championships. I just hate the payroll disparity. I like taking that huge disparity out of the equation and making it more about which teams make better talent decisions and build organizations that better develop and utilize that talent. And let’s face it, the “cap” in the NFL isn’t really a hard cap. Instead it’s a framework that the better teams know how to utilize to their advantage over other teams. But they do so by making better decisions, not by simply having a bigger pile of money. That’s what I want in MLB.
  18. Can somebody tell me what the horsefeathers it takes to have a healthy secondary? 😡😡
