  1. I don’t know. I’m not sure which 49ers we are going to get. I understand they have injuries but even with the Colts in full retreat, what I saw was impressive. McCaffrey looked unstoppable and it was because there were huge holes for him to run through. Purdy was on target with quick reads that don’t allow any kind of pass rush. Hope I’m wrong. I don’t see the Bears going to SF and beating them. Assuming Kittle guts it out, I’ll take a TD off their avg points during their win streak. 27 - 24 49ers. Close but no cigar. We absolutely destroy the bummed out Lions in the final game. 34-10 Bears in that one.
  2. He was spared the ignominy of losing his final game at SF so of course the football gods made him play to win to put the Bears in. It was the next best thing.
  3. Steelers are in having lost to almost every good team.
  4. ND seemed mostly upset about Miami, which to me, is misplaced anger. It would have made much more sense to be upset that the CFP was letting Tulane and JM in. Those teams had no business ruining prime postseason games.
  5. We are hitting the 49ers at a time when they've gotten healthy and look to be clicking on all cylinders. This one is going to be rough. If the Bears can shut down the run maybe they can have an impact on the passing game. Last night the Colts could not stop the run, and Purdy just killed them. I think the defense will have to put in their best game, and the Bears need to put together long, clock-eating drives with our run game to keep the 49ers offense off the field.
  6. Good thing BJ can succeed without any help from ownership. The McCaskeys are a clown car.
  7. Yeah, Rivers looking a little pudgy in that helmet but still slinging it
  8. I don’t know why you have to pick on me man. 😂 You’re right, the Packers were able to go on these clock eating drives and the Bears didn’t have much chance on the field. I had forgotten about the massive TOP difference.
  9. Metcalf is his own worst enemy. Enormous talent.
  10. Daniels needs to put in another healthy season before we will know if he’s “real.” I think he’s good. Just has to have another healthy season or two to settle in. Caleb is still a guy with superior skills but I’m wary of the inconsistency. He pulls a rabbit out of the hat if he’s given the opportunity and that’s amazing. He wouldn’t have to if he’d do it earlier in these games. I think he will get there though. He’s got the best in the biz coaching him. I’m with UMFan on this. Win or lose this year, with BJ we are set up to experience long term success.
  11. If I’m a Lions fan I definitely would hear “ the ruling on the field is a touchdown” and the penalty is not enforced and the game is over. It was horribly worded but you can’t expect much from refs these days.
  12. Blahahahah! Things pretty quiet in Detroit.
  13. Ruh-roh Lions. Old man lookin good all of a sudden
  14. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It was still a terrible call, and I’ll bet he doesn’t try something like that again.
  15. I would have laughed at anyone who predicted this level of success.
  16. Is Rome done or will he be back? I heard he might be shut down.
  17. Judging by this morning’s banter, you are correct. Yes BJ could give Caleb the game ball, but Caleb’s part of the team’s leadership as QB. It’s better to recognize everyone else. To even be a franchise QB it’s a given that he makes the big plays.
  18. That’s it. That’s the “topper” on the evening.
  19. Also it’s amazing how DJ got the game ball last week and said this is great but we’ve got more to do next week. Then he catches the game winner.
  20. Well, DJ has gone from the dog house to damn near a legend in 2 weeks. I’ll take the DJ spike on that graph.
  21. One thing is for sure, this Caleb late game comeback thing isn’t a fluke. Give him an opening at your own risk.
  22. Caleb was like nah, not leaving this one short.
  23. Refs tried their best but it still didn’t matter.
