    Think I was watching a game and the play-by-play guy was saying they could really use Bregman’s leadership with the young hitters. Done deal. Take him. Take him right now. I’m so over Bregman. I don’t even blame Jed.

    Best case scenario happened tonight. Got an easy win, Peterson’s first start with us went well. We won’t get swept which I’m calling a success in itself playing against a top team in their building with a MASH unit pitching staff. Maybe we can play a little looser tomorrow and scratch out a series win.

    I’m sure Brewer fans would have liked to see more Harrison given what happened after he left.

    It’s just another case where the Brewers know more about a team’s players than they do. Priester, Vaughn - a couple more examples. From what I understand the biggest thing they did with Harrison is play around with his position on the rubber.

    They’re going to keep throwing Miz 100+ pitches a start, if it comes back and bites them they’re going to regret that. Maybe he can do it I don’t know. I just know I would not want to have to answer if he goes under the knife “why did you push him past 100 pitches so often?”

    There’s probably a percentage of hitters who simply can’t get the bat around quickly enough to hit Miz’ fastball, even if they guess right.

    In situations like this I find prayer doesn’t help.

    The best chance to win a game vs Brewers is to do what we did against Peralta. Somehow get a solid SP performance and get into the bullpen where we have a better chance to do some damage. Basically try to steal one late. If we get behind by a few runs early it’s going to be wishful thinking to climb back into it. At least we have hitters who are back on track. Brewers are just a better team right now.
