  1. They need half a yard and their defensive line is getting torn up to hell. That call made no sense.
  2. BJ I love you man but that was stupid.
  3. Nice work. That’s what we will have to do because LaFleur is going for it in any short yardage situation unless it’s deep in their own territory
  4. This is a case where I hope it’s AI-generated.
  5. Just looking at the satellite view, if you picked up Lumen and plopped it on the other side of the highway, then it would be similar to SF.
  6. Even if they could bulldoze the entire site and start over, the one thing they can never do is get rid of Lake Shore Drive. It makes getting in and out of there with 58,000 other people a nightmare.
  7. The Packers address key injuries by bringing in randos who proceed to put up the one and only good game of their careers, then fade back into the woodwork. Maybe the Bears can do that Saturday.
  8. Been there, although thankfully only when I visit.
  9. Gary’s a superfund site, right?
  10. It’s Gary. Kicked out of Chicago… for Gary… What a legacy for Warren.
  11. The Raiders had bounced around already. Moving from Oakland to LA and back might as well be a different state. I’d be astonished if the NFL lets the Bears build a stadium in, say, Gary. Why can’t Warren get creative with private funding? I think the Raiders got some money by making Vegas charge more for hotel rooms. Admittedly I have no idea what’s already been explored.
  12. I don’t even know how Burden was injured. I was OK with Odunze being out because of Burden. Both of them out? That’s going to suck.
  13. So what are the real blockers here? State leaders told him 2026 isn’t gonna happen. Why?
  14. The sacks have dramatically decreased from his first to second years. It’s been an incredible improvement not just incremental. Sure, improvement is always welcome but there has already been improvement. I expect it to continue but it sounds like you are unhappy and I can’t understand why.
  15. Yeah I watched the Packers loss from St. Kitts. It’s a fun scene, random fans of whatever team huddling around the TVs.
  16. Most likely because they aren’t really 50/50. If you have 1 on 1, and the receiver has a height advantage, the QB can expect better than 50% completion or draw a PI. The real advantage is created by getting the right 1:1 matchup.
  17. Yeah, I felt like it was dangerous but people have been calling for him to push it more. He did there, and it worked. Can't complain about both pushing it and not pushing it, or it's just aimless complaining. Also, it wasn't like the throw was a prayer. He knew DJ was there, he knew if he placed it properly it would split the defenders. He put it in the right place, as you said.
  18. The biggest difference between Love's first and second half performance yesterday was the Broncos pressure. They seemed to figure out a way to get more pressure, and Love was affected by it. It would be nice if the Bears could figure that out, at least to some degree. The Packers will likely try to get creative with the pass rush Saturday now that Parsons is out. We'll see if Allen can dial up a few good stunts of his own.
  19. Yeah, it looked to me like we were one easy drop away. Monangai had a lot of room and blocking galore on that little screen. Still though, there was no first half struggle, and yeah Cleveland has injuries on D, but so does everyone and they're still a good defense. It was impressive yesterday on the O side of the ball, minus some drops.
  20. Any Packer fan I talked to was happy about that too, at least initially. The truth is, if Caleb blew out his knee they’d be OK with it.
  21. Yes!
  22. Was that a T-Formation? How bizarre.
  23. Very true.
  24. Romo apparently does not realize what quarter it is. uh-oh. Parsons down
