  1. I tried to find one for a Bears game once and there were so many sketchy VPNs to install I finally said it wasn't worth it.
  2. Never to be forgotten in Chicago.
  3. Exactly. And like 10 seconds before I saw your post.
  4. Classic strategy: start a guy who nobody knows. Even if he sucks it’s gonna take a couple ABs to figure it out.
  5. I heard Caleb threw a ball 75 yards in the air while sitting on the crapper. Definitely losing interest in the Cubs this year.
  6. Clearly, a strike. The fact that he challenged it just shows he’s not seeing the zone.
  7. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Cabrera but I sure didn’t expect this.
  8. There was this moment, I think 10 years ago give or take a few months… Yes, long ago I experienced Cubs joy.
  9. I like that AB from Swanson. Pitcher was likely hoping a frustrated hitter would swing at crap.
  10. I find it somewhat comforting that there are people who think Jed’s OK but I’d like to see someone new. It’s a rough division to be in. At the end of the day I can’t see Jed Hoyer building a champion like Theo did. Not a very data-driven opinion.
  11. As someone who identifies with the “long suffering fan” moniker, I’m happy for Knicks fans.
  12. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I always thought the torque it takes to spin the ball causes more potential injury but I don’t really know. Maybe he keeps it up for years. I wouldn’t expect injury.
  13. I had that confidence with Horton, then he went down. Imagine this staff with Ben where he is now and a healthy Horton.
  14. Where would you rank Hoyer among MLB teams, since he’s been alone without Theo? Brewers have got to be near the top.
  15. There’s probably a whole line of Brewers draftees who are in the pipeline to be successful MLB players while Cubs draftees will flame out. The failures start there and just propagate all the way to the majors. Jed can’t fix that. He has no clue how to build a solid system top to bottom. Pisses me off to no end. If Miz leaves for big bucks the Brewers will just bring up the next guy.
  16. Watching your team dominate. It’s been awhile.
