The Packers are doing that “December thing” again. Seems like every year once X-MAS season arrives they simply do not lose.
Lions beating the Rams is actually more surprising to me. I’m flipping between these games like a madman and it’s because the Bears have a real playoff stake in the outcome of both.
I know. I agree. But it’s still a “new” team in Chicago. That 4th down doesn’t help.
plus I need groceries and I’d like to watch the Packers game damnit.
My dad raised me on Bears and we took some pretty big digs at him during the Ditka era. Then he got his revenge on us once Favre came around.
I never understood him because I was raised a Bear fan. There was no choice. But I do think some people back then chose sides, even in Chicago. It’s still weird to me though.
My uncle became a Packer fan literally because of Bart Starr and the Lombardi-era Pack. Some people just chose that team over the Bears. A different era…
Yeah at this point I would just like it to be a rivalry again and not simply being owned every year by the Pack. Last game was a competitive game. A good first step.
Years back I was a purist. I’m done. Give me that megadome destination facility. I have my memories of snow fights in the stands at old Soldier Field. It’s enough.
