    The WS aren’t a great team but they aren’t bad. Cubs are tied with Cincy for the worst road record in the division which surprises me given 2 10 game winning streaks. But here we are.

    Hard to believe we’ve gone from dumpster fire Ben out of the pen to MVP Ben starter. But I’m super glad to see it. These bats have got to start producing again. In fairness we were playing a great team in their building.

    Yeah the Reds Reddit is pretty much us when the Cubs are sucking. You could literally do a search and replace Reds -> Cubs and it’s one of our game threads.

    I'll consider it an OK outcome if we can just manage to scratch out 1 win in this series. These are great teams (LA & SD), playing at home, and playing at their best. It's always tough to go out there and win. 2-4 is no fun but just don't get swept please.

    Not being in the draft room, I can’t say for sure. But if I had to lay money I’d say he came up empty at RB last year and at EDGE this year. Had a guy in mind but got beat. Because in both those cases there was a run right before his pick and he didn’t take action to move up. RB turned out OK, luckily. Some of that was just Ben’s ability to scheme. This year it could just be that Poles isn’t going to throw more money at EDGE. Not going to throw good money at bad money, so to speak. But again I’m speculating. Shut up about Caleb. I already have a heart flutter. 😁

    I agree. But what about stopping the run then? He’s not doing a good job there either. He can maybe stake a claim to valuing coverage over pass rush but not if his players also suck stopping the run.

    Thing is, if we found our long term center and top tier safety nobody will call it a bad draft.
