    Howard's much stronger and can jump a heck of a lot higher. Moreover, unlike Kemp, Howard's never had weight issues.

    It bears repeating: Dwight Howard is a force of nature. However, I will give Green props for the cupcake dunk. That was one of the more creative things I've seen in awhile.

    There was a point in time where that division would have constant wars. When he managed the Tigers, Phil Garner was especially notorious for goading other teams into bench-clearing brawls. This game comes immediately to mind.

    If we're doing that trade, I'd wait until next offseason and ask them for Lincecum, Madison Bumgarner, and Nick Noonan. Or, alternatively, I'd ask them for both Lincecum and Cain. :D

    You can thank our buddy Paul Sullivan for supplying that lovely word in this case. Ceda's an interesting case. He has absolutely wicked stuff and the potential to be a dominant reliever. At the same time, he's had some injury problems and weight concerns. I have to wonder if the Cubs are going to fast track him as a reliever or see if he can stick at starter over the course of a season. He put up some decent numbers while starting last season, but injuries set him back. I think the key with Ceda is the fact that he's still quite young (21), which should should give him a bit of an advantage in terms of developing and maturing. There's still plenty of time for him to get better at harnessing his control.

    From a purely selfish perspective, I'd love seeing the Brewers out of the Central and the Royals come in. That'd definitely be a great boon for the Cubs. However, from a perspective that's a bit more on the objective side, I really like having games up at Miller Park and enjoy seeing the rivalry between the Brewers and Cubs begin to develop. Cubs fans can easily make the drive from Chicago to Milwaukee, but Chicago to Kansas City? That's a bit more difficult. I really doubt this will happen any time soon, though.

    I'll be honest, this coming season, I'd rather see him playing WR for the Bears rather than SP/RP for the Cubs.

    They're also going to franchise Jordan Gross. That's one less team ahead of the Bears who could take a tackle.

    If he pitches the same way he did last season over the course of a six year contract for the Cubs, he could trot out to the mound every day wearing a rally cap for all I care.

    I'm a bit concerned about the wear and tear on his arm, but I'd love to see him in a Cubs uniform. Hopefully Zambrano can teach him a thing or two about keeping in shape. :D
