    I am now somewhat wishing for Utah in the BCS so they can get exposed. I think they are a good team but no way are they top 10 or competitive with the best of the big conferences teams.

    8%. Good enough reason to throw a party and drink beers. UM has a chance! :-)) You know what would be awesome...if they were like tied or close after the 1st qtr. Or what if it was like the 1st half of the Penn State game....it would suck if the 1st half of this game was like the 2nd half of the PSU game. Ohh well thats why you drink for this game. BYU better beat Utah this weekend. If Utah goes to a BCS game i hope they get smoked. EDIT: Rumors Sam McGuffie is transfering. That kinda sucks.

    The 'mug look'. I was in and out today but yeah from what i saw it didnt look like they were in it all that much. I don't think that has hurt them in the passing game, more of combination of lack of pressure and zone coverage. But lets assume that was the reason they were good at the run and maybe it was. Why didnt they go back to that look after seeing they were gashed? Because the Bears defense doesnt make any in game adjustments, its the game plan baby. Hell ive seen Turner make more in game adjustments than the defense has ever made. Yeah, WTF with Tommies comments, like P said, he resigned, why resign if you dont like it here. Dude is so emotional and sensitive. Phenom talent, im not ready to give up yet though. Briggs got paid and he is playing like a bad ass, he needs to jack tommie upside his stupid face. Mike Brown BLEW people up. F. The Bears are 5-5 and im really pissed off at this defense. Going into this year i would be satisfied, not happy with this record, but man the last 4 weeks games have been ishy performace wise.

    Rich Rod this is your chance to make amends for this season. Its not realistic but crazy things have happenend in this game before. Ahhh it will still be fun. Comments about this is the only thing that matters for these 2 schools is way overplayed....except for this weekend for Michigan, this is the first time ive bought into that talk. PSU better it get it done. If Ohio State goes to the Rose Bowl AND plays Oregon State i will all kinds of pissed off.

    How do they explain what happened to day as far as giving yards up on the ground. The packers have been terrible running the ball while the bears have been great. The pack had 200 yards rushing on 38 plays (5.3 per play, the Bears were like around 3.5 and #1 in 'stuffs'), it wasnt like the Minnesota game where AP got 53 on 1 play....they got beat consistantly today. Things don't add up. Last weeks comment from Lovie about 'the players believe in the scheme' really iritated me. And after reading some of Tommie's and Vashers comments after last weeks game i dont totally believe that. Why would he say that anyway, he basically told the players to not question things because he said they are all 'bought in'. Offense sucked i'll say that but the defense was just as awful. This defense was supposed to be good enough to win games. When have they won a game yet.

    I prefer Brian Orakpo amongst defensive ends. I also agree, pull Orton. This game is out of reach and he's going to re-aggravate his injury with this offensive line. If Orapko is there I agree, but more than likely the Bears will draft 12-16 and at this point, I don't see Orapko falling. I've seen Johnson go before 12-16 too (though given his play this season, he doesn't deserve to). But I think the Bears will go DE in the first round...I don't mind but I would love to see them go OL. If it were up to me, I'd cut T. Harris and draft a fat DT along side Dusty and Harrison, but the Bears won't do so. I'd probably go OLB with probably Aaron Curry, Maualuga for ILB shifting Urlacher to OLB, etc. but I agree that the Bears will do DE and cut Wale. I have no problem with going DE and cutting Wale, I'd rather not pour even more money into the linebackers. I'd give Harris one more year. I don't see Harris getting healthy to the point where he was two years ago before the injuries and with that contract, they have to be proactive as far as unloading Harris and Wale, depending on the cap hit. Wale wont have a cap hit, he will actually make more salary next year than what the hit will be. harris on the other hand would be an extraordinary amount of hit.

    Who has the worse QBs - Tennessee, LSU or Mississippi State? And are they the worst QBs in the nation? My answers are MSU and I can't think of any teams with worse QBs off the top of my head. Kevin Craft is horrible. Well if these guys are worse than Michigans current Qb situation then they must really suck the bone dry. Sheridan is junior walkon so i understand him sucking. Threet is RS Fresh with upside but he currently sucks.

    Terrelle Pryor. 6-10 for 48 yards and they put up 30. WTF. Yeah i know he ran for 100+ but still. Make him throw the damn ball. I might as well get drunk now just to get ready for next saturday. Stanford. If they win this USC should subsidize the team who wants harbaugh as HC to get the deal done.

    Off the books: 1) Giambi $22 million 2) Abreu $16 million 3) Mussina $11 million 4) Pavano $11 million 5) Farnsy $5.5million 6) Pettitte $16 million = $81.5 million $25M is what...$5M above market value. Financially who are they going to get to replace all these guys, even at $25M for CC they wont be anywhere near last years payroll. The Yankees have a different set of books than everybody else. Its a good deal to them.

    I did too. What happened to last years ABrown. What happened to rookie Mark Anderson. Really and im serious, the pass rush from the interior (Harrison, I2, and the oft injured Tommie) produces more of a pass rush than the ends. I have more confidence in those 3 producing pressure/sacks than the ends.

    This because I dont like Joe Maddon math of 9=8. TD=7, FG=3. % scoring per drives isnt very accuare of offense efficiency. PSU and OSU as good as those B12 offenses?? Cmon. PSU is the best in the B10 and they cant touch OU/MU/T/TT. Ohio States offense is hit or miss, they rely on the big play so much its not even funny.

    So we are using Alabama St., Tulane, W Kentucky, Georgia Southern, Hobo State, etc as OOC and the defenses of Baylor, Colorado, ATM, and Nebraska (B12) as a 'control'. Awesome. There are 5-6 teams in the Big 12 that offensively are better than 11 in the SEC. The only offense in the SEC who i would consider a true force is Florida. Nobody in the SEC comes close to Florida offensively (maybe UGA). Florida has absolutely lit every SEC defense up, how bout we use them as a control or is Florida the best spread offense ever created and nobody in the B12 is close to those guys.

    This defense is flat out whacked. They freaking dominate the line of scrimmage and blow run plays up but get nothing upfront when it comes to a pass rush. Its like 4 guys doing a bull rush, Alex Brown has no moves or speed rush anymore it seems. The pass coverage and schemes are a joke too. They get people on third and long so many times and sit in a soft zone and then get picked apart. I swear id rather have them 3rd and 2 than 3rd and 7+. This team was #1 on third downs but yet they seem to give up so many 3rd and longs. Pass defense, FIX IT. Lance Briggs is a bad ass.
