Whew, Michigan got lucky on that drive. I was impressed with how PSU was able to move the ball....they looked better then they did against OSU earlier in the season.

My QB suckatude continues and although I have Sexy Rexy as a must start now, my 2nd QB decision is a bit tougher Mark Brunell vs. Tennesse or Phillip Rivers @ San Francisco If Brunell didn't have such an inviting matchup, I'd pick Rivers easily. But Tennessee sucks, and is at home.

Yep, he began his career with the Braves while Aaron was still with them. He was on the team when Aaron surpassed the Babe. Wait so your telling me he was our manager for 4 years, and I never heard about this from him? Not once?? If I was him, I would have mentioned it as much as possible.

I miss when Baseball Tonight was "have to see" I don't know if it was becasue I was young and stupid, or if the show's really gotten that much worse, but man I loved that show when I was younger. Agreed, and its a little of both. I must say though when the Cubs are doing good, its 350% more enjoyable to watch

Honestly, home games on TV would mean the world to me. I consider myself a bandwagon Blackhawks fan. I do follow them on a day to day basis, and if the game is on TV I will certainly watch it unless the Bulls are on. But I can name about 10 players on the team, and since the ABC line left, I don't think I can name a full line. If the Hawks get good, I will surely take a bigger interest, as I did in 2002. But its really hard for me to get into a team when they are only on TV half the time. If the Hawks go on a 2-3 game winning streak, I will get excited only to realize the next game is a home game, and will not be on TV. Kinda kills the excitement right there. I just really don't understand why Wirtz thinks that in this day and age that not showing games on TV will help home attendance. If the Hawks only drew 8,000 last night, does he really think they would have only drew 6,000 if the game was on TV? I just don't get it...not only does it increase revenues for the team, it builds interest for the hockey club.

Waiting too long in the supposed 'year of the QBs' to take mine, which ended up being Brunell and Warner. Biting hard on the Dolphins offense this year with Ronnie Brown and Chris Chambers Not picking up Frank Gore after week one because I thought Mike Bell would contribute.

Haha, I thought you said Garnett was cut for some reason. I was like "sign him up!" Speaking of Garnett, with 4 SFs that look like they are going to deserve significant minutes, is it time to revisit a potential Garnett trade? How about Deng, Gordon, PJ Brown (expiring contract), 1st (top 8 protected) for Garnett. Yes thats a lot of talent to give up, and I'm not even sure it fits under the cap unless we sign Deng to an extension firstm but its worth thinking about. Why? Hinrich Thabo/Duhon Nocioni Garnett Wallace Bench Thabo/Duhon Griffin Thomas Khryapa Sweetney Allen That Marty guy Yes, our bench is weakened, but we have solid bench at the 3-4. With Garnett on the team, he can easily replace Gordon's scoring, and give us frontcount dominance, etc etc

Cory Lidle killed in NY plane crash

When I was out a bit earlier I was listening to B & B on 670, and someone called crying claiming to be Cory Lidle's first cousin, saying that Boers and Bernstein were making fun of Cory's death. The hosts did what they did best and deflect blame and claim that they were just stating facts. Did anyone else catch this today? (BTW, I love boers and bernstein, so my comments aren't of critical nature of them, but they do this sort of stuff a lot)
