  1. wow...sorry ndistops
  2. I think its just Bulls fans...its too much of a family and/or corporate atmosphere. The Bulls marketing wanted it this way and thats how it is
  3. If LT is the best offensive player in football, then Steve Smith is number 2
  4. This team looks pretty fluid now that they have some semblance of a rotation going. This offense looks completely different then it did 5-7 games ago. I guess it goes to show you not to freak out after 12 games.
  5. I needed a big game from Smith and Westbrook to win this week, and so far so good!
  6. Pitchers are going fast...this is how pitchers like Lilly go from 4/44 to 5/65 in a hurry
  7. 32/32 396 4TD I'd cry tears of joy if his numbers even remotely resembled this...
  8. Oooo...any speculation anyone?
  9. Looks like Lilly will be a Cub. Hendry probably outbid himself to get him too. Zambrano Hill Lilly Miller Prior/Mateo/Marmol/Guzman as it stands right now. I'm just worried we are going to be relying a little too much on Hill to be good
  10. I miss being optimistic. The Bears vaunted defense might be without Mike Brown, Todd Johnson, Nathan Vasher and Tommie Harris for this one. They also still can't find where their QB went. That said, I think Grossman has a mediocre game and the Bears win Bears 17 Rams 13 Grossman 12-25 159 yards 1 TD 2 INT
  11. Believe it or not, the Bears can clinch a first round bye with a win and a Cowboys loss against the Saints. Current Standings (Conf record in parethesis) Bears 10-2 (8-0) Saints 8-4 (7-1) Cowboys 8-4 (5-3) OK so all the teams have 4 games to play. Next week the Saints and the Cowboys play each other. The winner is in the drivers seat, the loser is in trouble. So assume a Bears win next week, the Bears clinch at least a tie for the bye week with only tie breakers that would do us in because either the Saints or the Cowboys will lose. So if the Cowboys win (and Bears): Bears 11-2 (9-0) Cowboys 9-4 (6-3) Saints 8-5 (7-2) So the Bears would be up 3 games over the Saints with 3 to play, but cannot clinch because if the Bears lost out and the Saints won out, the Saints would have a better conference record (10-2 vs. 9-3) If the Saints and Bears win: Bears 11-2 (9-0) Saints 9-4 (8-1) Cowboys 8-5 (5-4) In this scenario, the Bears would be up 3 games over the Cowboys with 3 to play, and would clinch a bye because if the Bears lost out and the Cowboys won out, the Bears would have a better conference record (9-3 vs. 8-4) But, should this scenario the conference tiebreaker record for the Saints would be improved, and HFA might be tougher to clinch. That said here is the scenario for next week: IF THE BEARS WIN AND THE COWBOYS LOSE, THE BEARS CLINCH A FIRST ROUND BYE
  12. Most years when there are rematches, they're a rematch from something that happened much earlier in the year - not a rematch of the last game that each team played. In that case, why don't we send Boise State or Louisville to the national championship game? They have 0 and 1 loss, respectively. What about Florida and Florida State in 1996? This is an absolute screw job for Michigan. Answer me this: If USC won yesterday, what do you think the BCS standings would look like today? 1. OSU 2. USC 3. Michigan 4. Florida The coaches screwed us again just like 1997. You don't have to like us, you have to remain unbiased. Very pathetic.
  13. Isn't that crazy, the Bears are the first team to clinch the playoffs.
  14. One thing I don't like about this is the fact that his arm might rival Pierre's for worst in baseball from CF
  15. He can, I've been saying this for awhile. His conditioning sucks, but he's probably the best low post guy on the team. He'd be great in 5-10 minute stretches
  16. Now that the Bulls have gotten their rotations in order and the schedule has gotten a little easier, things are looking up. Team looks really in sync tonight...
  17. have fun and don't get frostbite! If I lived through 7 hours of tailgating and a 3 hour game for the Atlanta game last year (8 degrees was the high), I think I will make it through this!
  18. As long as Florida wins by at least 10 points, I think when voters sit down and think about whose #2, more and more of them will have Florida fresh in their minds and will pick them to play in Glendale
  19. the clock ran down to 13 seconds, don't get your panties in a bunch I guess you missed the other calls? yeah, the refs were rooting for USC this week, the Patriots last week, etc... Indeed. Well, I hope for your sake that someday the refs are rooting for your team, and not against it. It happens once in awhile. I try to be impartial as much as I can...I can recognize when my team is getting the favorable calls...its just that I'm nowhere near as vocal about it
  20. That was boneheaded...you have to try to touch the ball and stop the clock temporarily
  21. WHY ISNT THE CLOCK MOVING?!?!?!!?
  22. Thanks Navin!
  23. Not liking the way this is going with the clock running and USC driving..
  24. I saw it
