  1. Michigan defense, especially the secondary is just choking. Simple as that. Someone tell the D that they are going to keep running the QB draw on 3rd and long until it doesn't work.
  2. I honestly cannot believe UM scores 23 points in the first half and [expletive] trails
  3. Now he's 2/4 at hitting wide open receivers with nothing but the end zone in front of them. FOUR different times an Ohio State receiver managed to get in front of the entire Michigan defense. How does that [expletive] happen? This is a nightmare.
  4. Of course Michigans D has been solid all year until the mediocre Ohio State offense comes to town.
  5. I think that helps the Bulls though. Reinsdorf doesn't have to feel pressure to get into the luxury tax in order to compete with teams like the Lakers, Knicks, etc. it's all about spending smarter now. On first glance it seems to me like superstars are even more valuable now. Or at least as valuable. The formula to build a winner relies more on spending smart and knowing when to let good but not great players go when they cost too much. Previously it was get your 2-3 superstars and then build by using the MLE every year and if you were a rich team you just keep adding.
  6. Only have to outscore them by 29 more points to get that result.
  7. [expletive] Denard. Way to come up big.
  8. If their QB could throw accurately beyond 10 yards this would be a completely different games. So far he is 1/3 at hitting wide open WR with nothing but grass in front of them.
  9. Part of me wants to say give him one more year, but now that I think about it. I'm not sure another year will help because with the extension for Rose kicking in, we won't have much room to operate under the cap even if we cut Boozer.
  10. Alright. Worst start possible for Michigan. Give up a wide open 50 yard TD and then go 3 and out. This sucks. If we can beat them this year it will never happen
  11. So Arkansas has already scored twice as many points as Bama did.
  12. Of course, the first post made in reply to this nugget being posted on SOSH is: "So Theo should be worth more." Fitting. It's almost as if the Jays were mocking Boston for their ridiculous demands for Theo.
  13. Sorry to the mods for responding negatively. You can only bite your tongue for so long. I'm over it now. Still don't know how the heck that post was confusing but ok. Anyways, Hester missed practice yesterday. Let's hope he can be healthy enough to contribute on Sunday.
  14. You know how hard it is to read a game thread when half the posts are sulley trying to emotionally talk himself through the drama of a sporting event?
  15. Waaahhh they called 47 penalties on the bears and none on the other guys. Why are they so mean to me?
  16. What the hell you even talking about? Nothing I said was difficult to understand. Go back to bitching and complaining about the world being against your sports teams. Somehow you were less annoying like that.
  17. i don't even know what the [expletive] you are arguing here. make sense, man. That's what I though about your post! Seems we have something in common you weirdo.
  18. So he's got a throwing arm to gush about and any ints he throws are excused because it was tough for him to come in as the 3rd QB in a pressure situation, why exactly is he a 3rd string QB? He sounds like a pro bowl QB to me. As I said, I don't care if he's the third string QB or whatever. Based on what I've seen of him, I'm not worried about his arm as much as his decision making. Even if you want to pretend he had nothing to do with his 2 ints, just the fact that he doesn't see much game action and does not have a ton of familiarity with the 1st team offense should be enough to be worried about his decision making in the game. I thought I should mention so as not to look too cynical, I actually think he will be fine on Sunday. He'll make some throws most people won't expect him to make and he'll probably make a few mistakes too. Depending on the gameplay Martz gives him, I could see a QB rating in the 80s, maybe higher.
  19. Oh he just lost his balance. Ok that's a reasonable excuse. I feel so bad criticizing him now.
  20. God dammit Depaul. That would have been a really nice win over Minnesota. Depaul was down 1 with 22 secs with the ball and Melvin gets an open lane to the hoop, a minn guy steps in and instead of pulling up for an 8 foot hook shot he runs right into the guy an instead of hoping they don't call the charge and lay it in, he does some random pump fake thing and they call the charge. So Minnesota goes to the line with 13 seconds left. The guy misses both FTs buy A guy on Minn boxes him out and puts back the second miss. From that point it was the standard awkward 3 four feet behind the line and Depaul loses. That sucks but it's Depaul so oh we'll. Edit: sorry for hccf like post. iPhone sucks.
  21. Can someone explain how Suh unfairly got ejected after likely a completely clean hit? My flight just landed so I missed another apparent screw job
  22. The Hawks were talking rather positively after the game despite the loss. They were happy they played much better so that's good. That said they have to win these last 2 games against two pretty good teams to even have a .500 trip, which would still make it somewhat successful. I say anything less than 3 points this weekend is a disappointing trip.
  23. Well on the bright side, we only gave up 1 goal tonight. On the downside, we forgot to get any ourselves. This team is hot and cold and really frustrating.
  24. I was under the impression that Pena could accept arbitration at anytime, so I figured he would accept after feeling out the market. Of course if the Cubs are already in hot pursuit of Fielder and Pujols, I guess that sends a pretty clear message. I see your point.
