Does every one forgetting that there was 33 seconds and only 1 TO? It's not like they were going to pound it into the beacons. Fine, just don't call a [expletive] screen on the 7 yard line. You can run 3-4 running plays in that time. The first one secures the first down of course. The point is, when you have an inexperineced backup QB playing and you are inside the Red Zone, you need to ensure you get points somehow. You only get so many chances to get points with a QB in Hanie's situation.

Yup. That's I guess that's the silver lining. Although it could have easily have been 10-9 at halftime so it could have been better than 12-7 too.

That was awesome because the Raiders threw an all out blitz at Hanie, and he responded by stepping up and quickly getting it off. Kid might have some poise. Come on D, keep it going.

Agreed. They need to tell him that. He's shown me enough from his preseason games and in the NFCC game that he knows when to scramble and can, so rather than tell him to stay in the pocket or throw it away, I am all for telling him to run whenever he sees an opportunity too. He'll make some bad decisions to run but better than making bad decisions passing under pressure.
