I now know how fans of other teams feel when Michigan beats them by hitting tons of 3's. Michigan has been outplaying Minnesota this whole game but is only up 1 because Minnesota keeps throwing up insane 3's and hitting them to stay in the game.

i think he solidified the idea that the difference between jay cutler and aaron rodgers might not be so great as thought. You might have been the only person to see Matt Flynn throw for almost 500 yards and think that this makes a Bears player look good.

there's pretty much no chance he keeps his job, right? they completely quit with at least a quarter of the season remaining. They just said on the Red Zone network that Jeff Garcia was spotted at the team's hotel last night. Supposedly it was a 'coincidence'.

Yawn, Packers start their backup QB against a playoff team trying to win the game against their rivals for playoff positioning and for the confidence boost of ending a 15 year drought in that stadium. Backup QB goes out and throws for the 22nd most yards in a game in NFL history. Oh yeah and the 480 yards Flynn threw for is 58 yards more than their MVP candidate QB has thrown in his career. Just another day is fairy tale Packers land.

I hope Tampa Bay somehow beats Atlanta so the meatballs can all cry about how we'd be in the playoffs if we didn't blow the Broncos game. As it is, I don't know if I can blame Hanie or the Cutler injury for missing the playoffs. Of course they had a massive effect, but even with Hanie, we are probably in the playoffs right now if 2 plays go differently: 1) Roy Williams catches a game tying TD against KC instead of deflecting it into a DB's arms. 2) One of the 50 things that had to go absolutely right for Denver to beat the Bears didn't happen. Assuming we find a way to finish off the Chiefs, we sit at 10-6, Cutler is back, Forte is probably back and we are the team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

So it's down to the Bengals and Titans for the last WC spot. It's pretty much the Bengals to lose at this point. I think these 3 scenarios would clinch a playoff spot for Cincinnati: 1) Bengals win OR 2) Raiders loss OR 3) Broncos loss Titans get in if: Bengals lose AND Raiders win AND Broncos win Pretty good odds for Cincinnati

Hawks win! Always GREAT to beat the Wings, but in regulation is even better. Not the best effort but we did enough good things to win.
