  1. All that penalty did was take another 40 seconds off the clock
  2. That was my thought
  3. A Pick 6 would be the greatest thing ever right about now.
  4. Wow that would have been good from 60
  5. Robbie [expletive] Gould, keeping us in it. Very nice.
  6. Their special teams, outside of the Knox return, couldnt be playing much better, so far its the right decision. But all it takes is one bad punt for it to blow up in their faces.
  7. Wow....wow....wow....wow...wow I thought we might actually get the ball in decent shape. Wow
  8. Palmer starting to make some dangerous passes. Cant get our hands on them so far.
  9. That can't be true. Didn't Knox have like a 50 yard kickoff return? Yeah, that was the drive they started at Oakland's 35 which is listed on there.
  10. But I wouldnt be surprised if they ruled that there wasnt conclusive evidence since it seems like half the foot hit in bounds before the rest of the foot came down out of bounds.
  11. Not a catch
  12. I can handle losing the game, but receivers dropping balls, risky throws in the red zone, avoidable penalties, and the defense giving up points on 60% of the Raiders possessions just kill me.
  13. do the raiders i want to convince myself the defense isn't that bad. OWN 29 OWN 25 CHI 31 OWN 43 MIDFIELD OWN 20 CHI 6 OWN 20 OWN 34 OWN 38 0 drives started inside the 20, 6 of 10 drives started at the 34 or further.
  14. We'd still be losing 10-12... Better than 7-15, but I personally don't mind gambling on that play if the potential is 14-12 lead. That's my point. No you could be winning 14-12. Do you not think the Bears could manage to get 10 yards on 3-4 plays using conservative playcalling (aka running the ball or high percentage throws? Screen pass is a high percentage throw. I'm done with this conversation. Sorry, it's gone on too long. That's not just a simple screen pass. He had to throw across his body because the play was designed as a misdirection. Not high percentage at all...actually quite difficult. I'll stop though, you are right.
  15. Bears starting field position today: OWN 18 OWN 23 OWN 16 OWN 18 OWN 3 OWN 26 OAK 35 OWN 20 OWN 17 OWN 18 That's special teams ownage. Only one drive started better than the Bears 26 yardline. 6 drives out of 10 started inside the 20.
  16. We really needed that INT to keep it within a score. Now we somehow have to score twice to win.

  18. How the hell are there so many [expletive] people wide open? The secondary and offensive line have been absolutely awful in a game they couldnt afford to be anything less than good in.
  19. Just put us out of our misery Oakland. We stinks Its tough watching Carson Palmer pick our defense apart.
  20. Exactly....execution wasn't good. That's a difficult pass to make. Not one you ask your inexperienced backup QB to make in the red zone when you are in a position to take the lead before halftime. The Raiders played it well. What can you do? The play is supposed to set up so the TE is isolated. If that happens, there's a great chance to score. What you can do is run a less risky play for your inexperieced backup QB. You are just about guaranteed 3 points. The way this offense is going, you are probably only going to get 2-3 chances to score all game, and you just wasted one of them by making your QB make a difficult throw instead of running it for a 1st down inside the 10. Isn't the fact that they are struggling to score an argument FOR trying to score a TD? You're not taking away the chance of a TD. You are making it much more likely that your QB is getting some points.
  21. Dammit this is not fun to watch. Come back soon Jay. Jay is one of the only QBs in the league that can succeed with this much pressure on him almost all the time.

  23. Other than that Knox runback, the Raiders special teams has dominated us. I'm not used to starting almost every drive inside the 20
  24. I think I just have to accept we aren't going to win. The offense just isnt good enough to get more than 2-3 sustained drives in a game. We got 2 so far today and pissed one away with bad playcalling
