    If Hardaway wasn't shooting 3's you would be winning. What's wrong with a 27% 3 point shooter taking 5.6 attempts per game? Purdue can't shoot in the second half so you're golden now. Since you've said that they've hit 3-4 mid-range or deeper shots in a row. I'm not angsty as usual about this game because UM doesn't need it except to hold onto a potential 3 seed, but it would be nice for Michigan football and basketball to both be undefeated at home this year.

    It's gonna be really interesting to track Braun's performance this year now that he is (presumably) not cheating anymore. Also, if he ever tests positive on a test again, he's going to be one of the biggest villians in baseball. I sit eagerly waiting for this to happen.

    I used to work at Kinkos/FedEx and at least when I worked there, they had special delivery options for people sending medical related things such as blood or organs (yes they sometimes ship organs via FedEx) and those are obviously picked up and delivered immediately. It costs a fortune but its very reliable. I am assuming that urine samples can be sent via this option as well.

    Thanks for that but why post in the Theo/compensation thread? Also, are we sure the Cardinals, Brewers and Reds are even going to want to compete in the same division as us when they see our projected 3-4 of Byrd and LaHair? I'd be scared....real scared.

    Wow, and now its 3-1. What a meltdown reminiscent of the 9 game losing streak.

    And now Dallas takes the lead. Blackhawks in danger of losing their first game in regulation all season where they entered the 3rd with the lead. Stars have absolutely dominated the Hawks in the 3rd and it finally shows on the scoreboard.

    Opponent scores after Hawks fail to clear a puck. I am absolutely stunned.

    I lived near Boston at the time and watched the Celtics a bit back then because the Bulls were awful and never on TV and the Celtics had a likable team. As much as Toine sucked, he was an entertaining player with the shimmy. Walter McCartey was Tommy's role player du jour. Pierce was an emerging superstar. And with the East being absolutely pathetic, it seemed possible that the Celtics could get to the Finals. That 20+ point comeback against the Nets in the ECF was pure awesome, except for the fact that it was their only win of the series.

    Let's see if Manny tries to overturn his suspension now. All he needs to do is hire some really expensive lawyers to find a loophole or technicality and he's good to go.

    That's stupid. It just opens the door for more people to get their suspensions overturned, using this as precident. At least we got one good bit of knowledge out of this: Braun's rampant herpes.

    Very plausible, but the article said he was alone. The other thought is alcohol, but it was at 10 AM, and being drunk in the morning is really more of a Kane thing.

    Yes, I am sure people are going to wonder what a concussed hockey player was doing driving around the city. Based on what is posted above on this page it doesnt seem like the concussion was particularly severe, but how else do you randomly drive into an EL support beam?

    That Knicks team that made the Finals sucked also, but that was in a strike year. I feel like you could hand pick a good chunk of ECF participants from the early 2000's to give this award to. http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/MIL/2001.html I can't compute Milwaukee being in the ECF as recently as 12 years ago.

    Really? Butler too?? That was just my best guess at what the Lakers would be looking for in return. I'd much prefer to keep Butler. I think he could develop into a poor-man's Deng. Wow. Maybe just Mike James instead of Butler then. LA could use a good 4th string PG and will certainly bite on that.

    I dont particularly like Rondo (the person, not necessarily his abilities which I respect) but he obviously deserves to be in the ASG over Joe Johnson. Johnson isnt even having that good of a season at all. I was wondering why there wasnt more of an uproar that he made it over guys like Rondo and Josh Smith.

    I'm probably the only person who enjoyed those NIT runs. It's all I had for over a decade.

    That's optimistic. And Michigan fans know a thing or two about what it takes to get to the NIT. But not as much playing our way out of it.
