  1. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 37m37 minutes ago Super-Bowl MVP Tom Brady said on WEEI that he wants to give his MVP truck to Malcolm Butler. Wants to. Gotta get those tax attorneys on this one before they do anything. Butler won't have to pay a single dollar in taxes on the truck. Brady will. Butler would have to pay a gift tax based on the value of the vehicle wouldn't he? Or at least the value of the vehicle beyond 10k or whatever the limit is. And given that Brady made it public knowledge, it's not something he can not report.
  2. hmmmmmmmm Gotta keep him. He got a sack against the super bowl champs.
  3. He's confused why there's so much negativity on this. Seriously. He tweeted that. and only a few of the comments to that tweet are really even clued in on why that mock draft is ridiculous. I haven't seen one other mock draft where either of the QBs fall beyond the top 2. He seems to think the hate is coming from Cutler defenders.
  4. That was pretty apparent, but I thought he did a nice job. I liked him, but he was very vanilla. I thought he was great. I'd have liked to have seen him give it a full year before making a decision like this, but I understand it. Wannstedt has been getting a push right now. Wonder if it could be him? What is Wanny doing these days besides coming on the score once a week? He's only 62, I'm surprised he's still not trying to coach somewhere in some capacity.
  5. Words said at press conferences: 0
  6. I had to turn off Cowherd this morning (only on because Score was on commercial) because he kept calling everyone idiots for questioning the play call. His main argument was that the Pats had practiced for that play during Super Bowl week. I'm sure they did, but that doesn't mean you use that play with the game on the line and no margin for error. Anyways, I know his whole thing is getting a reaction out of people so, you win again Collin.
  7. He has clear eyes on a perfectly positioned DB who is leaning in ready to pounce. That's horrible QB decision making. And a terrible throw.
  8. And maybe don't line up in shotgun. I understand a sack is killer there but whatever any pass called will be thrown quickly and you still have the TO and 2 plays to maybe get 7 yards. Lining up with a shotgun formation pretty much gives away the fact that there's going to be a pass.
  9. Why would he say that? He didn't make the call, Bevell did. Ok say "We" then. Either way. It was a terrible call, it backfired in the worst way possible. Just own up to it because nothing about "3 WRs vs a goal line defense" is going to make any sense at all.
  10. =D> Can someone do one with Trestmans face saying "Even I would have run it"?
  11. Honestly the Boston success bothers me a lot less after this: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2013/06/25/sports/hockey/seventeen_ss-slide-6GUF/seventeen_ss-slide-6GUF-articleLarge.jpg
  12. Carroll with a long rambling explanation for the playcall that really doesn't say anything at all. He should have just said "I made a bad playcall and we will have to live with the consequences"
  13. Lions end their season on a heartbreaking collapse to Dallas Dallas ends their season on a heartbreaking call to GB GB ends their season on a heartbreaking collapse to Seattle Seattle loses the super bowl on a heartbreakingly terrible play call vs NE Doesnt fit perfectly but whatever
  14. If Brady was cool he'd say "Hey Richard Sherman, you mad bro?"
  15. I just cannot believe that. You are on the 1 inch line. Even if you don't get in you have a TO and a chance to run the clock down. Wow. Just wow. I am just as stunned as Collinsworth is. How the hell do you make that decision? It was literally QB sneak territory
  16. That was the worst coaching decision in Super Bowl history
  17. Ways to kill your image: sit next to Roger Goodell at the Super Bowl Nice one B
  18. Which tells me that unfortunately, the Packers are the best team in football right now. BS. A) One game doesn't necessarily tell you which team is better. Any given Sunday B) Coaching matters in determining who is better and McCarthy neutralized any advantage the Packers had in the game C) I believe in the theory that Wilson was concussed early in that game D) Agreeing with that doesn't give enough credit to the Seahawks comeback in that game.
  19. Looks like the Bears chose the wrong WR named Chris from the CFL.
  20. I just spent the last 15 minutes laughing from tweets about the Nationwide ad
  21. They pretty much are haha. I like being the plucky little team that could, but eventually I'd like to win some of these games. Or at least score in OT :)
  22. It's probably a little bit extreme, and there are definitely numbers that paints Gasol as a net positive for the Bulls, but I think I agree with the sentiment that he's getting more praise than he deserves.
  23. I'd love to see Izzo and D'Antonio go up in flames. I assume you mean couches though.
  24. I don't see any of those guys coming back. Bernstein would spontaneously combust of Kap and/or Haugh got hired and I don't think the executives at the Score trust McNeil to finish any contract he signs. My guess is that Mannelly is stepping down to make room for someone specifically. A radio guy perhaps...that has been in the industry a while and he feels like he's taking some "radio guy's" spot. Ben Finfer maybe? I like Ben Finfer but could he really get a job in a large market after his very public outburst that sort of made national headlines (via deadspin)? I guess if he would get a job anywhere it would be with the Score who is very familiar with him and could look past it. Anyways I am not sure what the ratings are but I've heard nothing but positive comments towards Mannelly. I don't think he'd be asked to step down for someone like Finfer. It has to be McNeil Why does he necessarily have to have been asked to step down? That's how I took Banedon's post.
  25. Hawks still just 9-8-1 since December 20th and haven't won more than 2 games in a row during that span. Not super worried because it's the Hawks but I would like to see them put together some sort of run at some point. Hawks season broken into 3 parts: -Started 9-7-1 -Went 13-2-0 -Then went 9-8-1
