But George is getting ANGRY I don't think it would happen either as I don't think he'd leave until after the Packers season is over and it might extend until February, and at the very least 2 more weeks.
Out of curiosity, what does Ted Phillips do for football operations except hiring the GM? I want him gone too at least from football ops but it's more because I want ot see blood rather than understanding what he has done wrong (other than hire Emery)
I know he isn't going to say he expects to be fired but it's still funny to read it and pretend in some delusional world he actually thinks he's coming back. On a side note it's been funny to see how much of a shell he's gone into in terms of comments to the media over the past couple of months. He was once praised for how open and candid his comments were...last week he was given a bone and asked which of his players deserved to be in the pro bowl...a chance to talk up his guys and his response was "no comment"
How do we get such a [expletive] schedule? I don't know how we were "fortunate" enough to get maybe the 2 best divisions in football (in 2014). Oh well, the rest of the north has to play them too and we get the last place teams.
Bears 2015 opponents: Home - Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Arizona, San Francisco, Denver, Oakland, Washington Road - Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Seattle, St. Louis, San Diego, Kansas City, Tampa Bay
Hopefully it just means there aren't any hard feelings F-that. There are many hard feelings If the McCaskeys decide to can Emery and Trestman they are eating millions of dollars to make them go away. If they irreparably destroyed the Cutler relationship or otherwise decide to move on, they are eating significantly more money to get rid of him. It would be hard not to have hard feelings from the ownership side.
Hopefully it just means there aren't any hard feelings The Cubs let their fired GM lead their next draft. All Emery is doing is just sitting next to George. Ok... Did I say different ? I think he's responding to the OP
