    Wow if all the scores hold right now, 6 teams (Miami, Buffalo, San Diego, Baltimore, KC and Houston) would be tied at 9-7 for the final AFC playoff spot. We already know that the Texans would be in if the scores held but I wonder how confusing the tiebreaker was.

    Unless Harbaugh is GM too I was thinking this too, but all the rumors have Jimbo going to U of Mich...sooo Fox Sports claiming Harbaugh to UM is done. He's supposedly flying there tomorrow. http://foxs.pt/1xqJ3zf Weird then that the Fox ticker had Harbaugh not accepting Mich's offer during the first half. It's done. His long time friends are even tweeting it's done. People connected to Michigan have been tweeting to make sure they come to the Michigan basketball game on Tuesday for a special introduction. The interim AD told the players this weekend to expect a coach hired by midweek, and I don't believe Michigan has formally interviewed anyone else. The most respected UM sportswriters are congratulating UM on the hire. It's done but nothing is signed because Harbaugh is coaching the 49ers today, thus the reports that the Raiders are still in play IMO. it would take a monumental change of heart that would enrage the rabid fan base of his alma mater for Harbaugh to not be coaching UM next year.

    Wtf? Why in the hell would they want to win today? You expect owners to act the same way educated fans do? No probably not. On second thought they are all in that rich ass owners club and finishing ahead of Zygi Wilf for bragging rights is more important than draft positioning.

    I think it's a lot of fun if you are a fan of a rising team. For example the 10-11 season was a ton of fun as a Bulls fan because the team came together, exceeded all my expectations, met every challenge and won 62 games. The next regular season was much less enjoyable as I already knew the Bulls were elite contenders and was just waiting for the playoffs to start. This year is starting to become on the level of the 10-11 team due to Rose's injuries knocking the Bulls from title contender the last 2 seasons

    I've watched you a couple times this year, love Myke Henry, where the hell do you guys go from here? I thought Purnell might be able to make it work there, but that clearly isn't the case. Until they fire the AD and put a focus on athletics as a university (facilities, etc...), they won't get a decent coach in there and will probably be kicked out of the Big East when the TV contract is up in 8 years. There is close to 0 administration/board of trustees interest in athletics and the most apathetic fan base out there, the practice facilities are complete garbage, and the only reason they can recruit anyone is their location and opportunity for kids to think they are playing in a major conference. It's a dumpster fire. To me it's all about the lack of somewhere to play in the city. Unless they figure out a miraculous way to play somewhere downtown they're doomed. I was all about DePaul basketball back in the day, but by the time I was attending school there I had zero interest in being bused all the way out to see them play. Is the South Loop close enough to downtown?

    I was startled when I looked at the 2003 Red Sox on Baseball Reference. Damon was last in OPS amongst starters at .750, which was an OPS+ of 94! 7 of their 9 starters has an OPS over .820 and 4 with an OPS over .938. There were only 4 hitters in all of baseball last year that had an OPS over .939. I think a team that put up their numbers in 2014 would win 120 games with average pitching

    What does that say about Emerys status that he is able to extend guys right now. Garza blows. The only justification is that garza is considered a leader for the Bears. But with how dysfunctional they've been he can't be too great of a leader.

    Believe with a win they play at home against the Giants and with a loss vs Washington. Considering we play both West divisions we need all the easier games we can get (at least opponents that look easier right now)
