    promise you won't go to any playoff games this year. Can't promise that but I'm also 0-5 in playoff lottery ticket rounds (DS and LCS in 08, DS, LCS, WS last year). Can't remember if the potential WC game had a lottery last year but if it did I lose that too

    My buddy compared his numbers as a Cub to Jakes Cub stint in 2013 and they are nearly identical. Not that it means anything. At all.

    The Brewers should know the optimal strategy in this series is to lose today. The Cubs will be hung over tomorrow (except Bryant he will just randomly have a stomach bug) and will probably play a lot of reserves Saturday and Sunday

    It depends on when the tiebreaker would be played. If the tiebreaker is on Monday after the season (which would make sense as AL WC game is on Tuesday), then you actually put yourself in a position where the team's ace can go games 2 and 5, although it's highly likely that team uses their ace on Saturday or Sunday. If they use the ace on those 2 days and advance to the LDS, then the ace is set to pitch game 1 (if they don't start on short rest in WC game or come in relief).
