  1. Does Posey ever hit the ball softly? Or like strike out? Hopefully that's the last time we see him bat this year
  2. Are you horsefeathering kidding me Fox? 2003 in Atlanta
  3. Giants will have all the momentum and nothing to lose. But the Cubs have a lot of veterans on this team that have been here before and can steady the team hopefully Giants had all the momentum going into game 1 too and it did horsefeathers all. If we don't come back tonight, we'll still have a massive advantage against Matt Moore tomorrow, and then I'll still take Lester over Cueto if it gets to that. This has been a confusing, frustrating game, but bullpens are going to bullpen, no matter how supposedly unhittable some pieces of garbage are advertised as being. Offense will hit, and we will be fine. It's different when we are talking about elimination games. The Giants have the even year mystique, the 9-0 in elimination games etc. none of that mattered to the Cubs but now the Giants have to be slightly in the Cubs heads. The Giants have nothing to lose...they don't have the 108 year drought or the 103 win season or the 7 all stars. I don't know how much psyche matters or how much it matters to this team but I guess we will find out
  4. The Cubs have never won a playoff game west of St. Louis. 0-10 if we don't come back today
  5. Just throw it over the horsefeathering middle. What do you have to horsefeathering lose at this point?
  6. Giants will have all the momentum and nothing to lose. But the Cubs have a lot of veterans on this team that have been here before and can steady the team hopefully
  7. Once again the 2nd out of the 8th inning is impossible to get
  8. Gotta say this about Chapman, when he decides to suck he goes all out
  9. Can't let them off the mat like that. Gonna have to hope that the better team wins out
  10. I have to stress how absolutely rare it is for chapman to give up a XBH to a lefty
  11. If we go to extras it's gonna be the Grimm and Montgomery show
  12. Posey has grounded into 18 double plays this year...
  13. You'll always have that little squibber up the middle at Wrigley Jason
  14. and before tonight he was 1-15 against Jake Yeah he's locked in right now. Going to be a scary AB
  15. again as I mentioned, Posey destroys chapman and if Rondon gets through the 8th unscathed, 4 straight lefties due up for Giants. Heck even if he does give up a hit or two chapman can come in in the 8th
  16. Guessing we're just not going to get any help from the offense blah
  17. If anyone was wondering, Posey is 0-3 with a K against Rondon
  18. Ok 6 more outs. I'd almost suggest pitching Chapman in the 8th through the heart of the order and Rondon in the 9th but A) Posey absolutely owns Chapman B) 5-6-7-8 hitters all lefties which Chapman destroys
