Trubisky may not be the greatest QB ever, but the running game is clearly excellent. I mean, do you know who the bears are? This whole thing just smacks of you trying to simulate human observations and concerns but failing miserably. No one will accept you with salad. Where are you projecting the Bears running game? Top 5 in the NFL? Well let's see they finished tied for 4th highest YPA in the league in 2016, have a stated offensive game plan to run to set up pass and should have a defense that is decent enough to keep them in games so that the run game is not abandoned.

I've been on the "Quintana has a tired arm due to WBC" train. Would it be awful to give Q 1-2 starts off and just let Monty continue to start when Lester gets back? With rosters expanding you don't even have to make up a fake injury for him

I know he's a rookie (and know he came through with an RBI hit last AB) but I always imagined Happ as a guy that took better at bats than he often does. Like this AB where he swung at bad pitches twice with 2 runners on.

Jeez, Brewers up 3-0, cardinals have the winning run on in a tie game in B9, Colorado won, Arizona winning early. Best to just forget about today

I was enjoying it just fine until their left fielder made a shoestring catch that probably works out 5% of the time, turns it into a triple play, and then 15 minutes later we go from up 3-0 to down 5-3. We've lost A LOT of games this year we should've won. Probably won't prevent us from making the playoffs, but it's been a year full of plenty of frustrating losses. I don't think we deserved to win today. 7 singles, 0 xbh, poor defense. It happens. Move on

Maybe. They've gotten guys on but really how many hard hit balls have we had today? Seems like just about all of our hits have been soft. Hopefully that changes with thebpen in the game.

meh. the cubs play 162 times and this will be our last chance to watch trubisky for a few weeks at least. You think the 4th game will be all Sanchez/Shaw?

Glennon did not look great after the first drive but made some throws. My guess is that unless Trubisky just dominates in the 2nd half starting with the series w the starters that Glennon did enough to win the job. I don't like that but whatever with that schedule he's either benched by week 4 or he actually does well and becomes an asset.

I wish we didn't have such a brutally hard start to the season. Actually kind of excited to watch this team this year. Hell maybe we will win a couple of those first 4-5 games and really have something to be excited about

We haven't yet gotten our 20 run game but we have scored 20 runs over our last 9 offensive innings. That's a start.
