    Sitting in a seat for multiple hours does sound painfully tedious. If you're as tall as me it's pretty much a form of torture I dunno. I'm 6'1 and my knees are made of stale shredded wheat, but I get by ok.

The "winning team" is awarded a framed photo of Stan Musial receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Remaining teams get participation ribbons. So he's cool with their 2011 title, even though it was a wildcard one? It only proves his point, somehow. Ipso fatso

    meh happens to me too with a lot of this stuff. I expected it to happen when I saw the last pitch of the series but it didn't quite. If we win the NLCS, it will. it happened to me hearing some [expletive] radio highlights on the way to work That's it for me too. I don't even remember when Pat Hughes started doing Cubs radio, but it's been long enough that he's a constant in my life. Hearing him call this stuff gets to me in Cat's in the Cradle kinda way. Yeah, my grandpa passed away a month ago, and for the three week period he was sick and pretty clearly wasn't going to last much longer, I was thinking, "[expletive], he is going to live for 80 years without a Cubs WS, and if he could just hold on for another two months..." and it is getting rougher and rougher but better and better with each postseason W.

    I honestly don't care much. I don't dislike one team much over the other. The Dodgers have a better 1-2, the Mets have insane SP depth...but we will dong both into oblivion.

    He is just a straight up stud. His peripherals are straight up nasty. I assumed he was injured with Cahil being the go to guy earlier in the playoffs...but maybe they just know that Cahil is fixed now.
