  1. It would be really cool if he somehow won, and it forced schools to use non integers on jerseys. Maybe even imaginary numbers. I don't care who it is or what school/team, the first player to sport 8i is the first jersey I'll ever purchase in my life.
  2. There is a Denver Bronco that made a few appearances at my bar chess club over the years. I'd be stunned if he isn't the best chess player in the NFL, with a online Rapid rating north of 2000. Anywho, last year in the summer, he tore his Achilles and was out for the season. This summer, exactly a year to the day, he tore his other Achilles. Pretty insane.
  3. Lol. Wow. That the guy who lost the 2 mil was previously an investment manager is just so on the nose. People are ridiculous.
  4. Yeah, FIFA really sucks ass.
  5. If Mexico were better than England, I'd maybe agree with you, but...
  6. I think it would be sick af to see Mexico in the QF.
  7. Yeah, that's going to be fun. The US game overlaps with my bar chess meet up. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the least amount of chess played in our 5 year history.
  8. Dang man, in the knockout rounds, I don't want to see Berhalter on the field AT ALL. His passing is just soul-suckingly bad.
  9. What a beat down that was! Nice.
  10. Is that the best volley goal in USMNT history? Good lord.
  11. I don't follow college football at all, so I know even less. But in general, I think QBs go later than they should, and it's entirely because of risk-aversion to bust rates. Painful when you lose, but when you hit, it's just worth soooo much.
  12. When your QB is 38 (and had retirement rumors swirling due to back issues pre-season) and you see a QB you think is good, I don't think how the previous year ended means all that much.
  13. ...I guess it's easy to say so in hindsight, because they are probably winning 97% of the time if they don't foul...but that's not as good as the 99.9% if they do.
  14. Probably the loudest I've shouted in surprise while watching a CBB game.
