  1. With Boldin' renewing his trade demand, I would love for Bears to make a move for him. All the good players the Bears could trade for were already given signing bonuses. Can you sign and trade in the NFL? I'd trade Briggs for Boldin and move Jamar Williams to Briggs' spot.
  2. We don't have a good option
  3. Orton has a lower TD to INT rate. He might be a game mananger, but he throws more INTs than Grossman.
  4. Manning might not play. He hasn't practiced yet and his knee might be worse than originally thought. But if Manning sits out, the Colts still win.
  5. Chip block by Olson. Quick screen to Forte. I don't know if Hester will perform a quick inside route for fear that he will get crushed up the middle.
  6. If Clark is hurt for any length of time, there are problems. I heard on the radio that Olson can't play on any pass blocking plays because he is a terrible blocker. It is going to be hard for him to see many passes thrown his way if when he is in the game you know he is only acting as a receiver.
  7. also in that link: good deal. Dusty just seems like the type of guy who can never stay on the field. Hasn't he had 4 completely different injuries in 2 years? Not good. You are right, but man that defense looked great in the first game last year vs. the Chargers with Brown and Dvoracek. But the offensive line in that game was about as good as last night's. Grossman almost got killed numerous times. I really can't blame his poor play on him last night or vs. the Chargers.
  8. No, why would it be? How can you represent another country if you don't live there? Because that country doesn't have professional services that will make them the money they are now making. So you are saying the NBA should field a team against a team from a league in Greece,Spain, etc? If I live in England for work does that change who I am? I am not talking about professional athletes. That I understand. Having a regular job working in England is one thing. Representing your country but being away from it for the last four years training in your competitor's country is another.
  9. No, why would it be? How can you represent another country if you don't live there?
  10. We should start calling them the offense since they do most of the scoring.
  11. Does anyone else find it odd that athletes from all over the world can train in the US right next to American athletes and then compete for another country?

  13. Bolt is one tall man. How tall is he?
  14. I hope Clark's knee injury isn't too serious. But a first round draft pick shouldn't be splitting time.
  15. Didn't Torre have some deal with Manny cutting his har related to Torre's foundation?
  16. 25-15 to get 100 wins. That would be nice. When was the last time that occurred?
  17. I wouldn't really cut his time. As long as the Cubs are maintaining their lead in the division, they have a better chance of winning the World Series with a productive Lee than anyone else. The Cubs and Lee just need to see what they can do to increase his production, and that would be seeing more pitches with some rest time. Rest him once a week from here on out, at least until the division is wrapped up.
  18. After this latest road streak, there are only four teams that have more wins on the road than the Cubs. The Cubs have gone from a below-average road team to one of the best. Two of these four teams are in the Central: Milwaukee and St. Louis. It's a nice streak, but the real tough road games are coming in September.
  19. Karolie is still technically the coach of the team right, but the Chinese wouldn't let him on the floor?
  20. he has no ass, that's what makes him good, apparently. They did a breakdown of his features before his race. He's 6'4'' with a 6'7'' wingspan. Size 14 feet. His legs are as long as that of a man who is 6'0'', but his torso is as tall as a man who is 6'8''. A 32" waist, that's unbelievable. I have a 32" waist. But I'm closer to 5' 4" than 6' 4" :( I'm 6'3" and have a 32" waist. I don't see what's so unbelievable about it. 6'4" and 185 lbs, but he looks 225. 12,000 calorie diet.
  21. He's forgetting that what Lilly did last year was in response to what they did to Soriano. Lilly didn't do it on his own. I didn't think what Soriano did yesterday was any more pimping that what he normally does. The Braves were mad because Soriano didn't hit it out. They were more disgusted with him that Soriano was with himself. Seriously, how can you expect to throw at Soriano's head and not get any retribution? Lilly played it perfectly - if he was going to get wrung, do it when you are about to be taken out. I wonder if this little war goes back to the Prior/Giles run in back in what, 04 or 05? Franceour should stick to getting his swing back. He has bigger problems.
  22. What's the bullpen ERA this year? Where do the Cubs stack compared to the other teams? The pen was getting worse around the All-Star break, but with the addition of Gaudin and Samardija, I am really confident now. If Cotts can return to 2005 form, this team has no weaknesses.
  23. Kick back and live the life off the millions you make in endorsements. Someone is paying him one million dollars if he breaks Spitz's record. In addition to the endorsements, he will train people at some swimming facility in Maryland I heard. He's gotta make good money there too. Athletes in the Olympics are allowed to get paid by advertisers before the Olympics correct? Phelps is unbelievable, but the new Speedo suits result in 2% quicker times. The pool in the water cube is deeper than ever which means that waves are swallowed up more. Those barriers in between the lanes are designed to soak up the waves better than anything before. Phelps is great because he is whipping everyone else, but I wonder how legit his WR times are.
  24. Table tennis on tonight. I actually like watching this.
  25. Who cares really, all their medals are in crappy judged "events", or weightlifting. i wish we could beat communists at anything, though. it would make me feel so much better about my own mode of production. what's their incentive, anyway? Survival
