I'd kill for some mid 700's OPS out of third base this year. I see your point. If he was still a Cub, McGehee would be OPSing about .500 right now, though. but he'd be at least doing it for near the league minimum
Warning to Erik, don't watch this or you'll have a rage fueled brain aneurysm http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=8250511&c_id=bal
We need that kind of manager now! Lou Piniella looks lethargic and lets his players get away with all sorts of crap!!! I say we drag Earl Weaver out of retirement. He'll show this team how it's done! hell yes
just put it this way. jason heyward's ceiling is one of the top 20 baseball players of all time. starlin castro's ceiling is to be a very good shortstop.
well that was a beatdown best part of the game was quade having a psycho mini melt down after he sent byrd home early in the game. i wish he had been mic'd.
i don't know how to look this up, but is starlin castro the first player born in the 90's to play in the majors? or is someone younger than him in the majors right now?
forecast looks pretty decent until late night. I'm sitting here 75 miles north of Cincinnati, and it's a beautiful sunny day..... but all hell could break loose in the next six hours, eh? where you at fred? i'm like 75 miles north of cincy
might not get a chance to post this tomorrow since i'll be at the game. but is gorzelanny vs. harang the ugliest starting pitching matchup in baseball history?
The kid was fleeing arrest. The cop was well within his legal rights to use it. Cops are supposed to use the minimum amount of force necessary to end a conflict. Who knows how long the kid would have ran. The cop used a tazer and ended the situation as quickly as possible with as little force possible. I applaud him. i'd like to see you get tazed and tell us all how that's "little force".
I'm not watching that 30 for 30. All the other ones have been very entertaining and informative, but I just can't re-live that night. I just can't. it was roughly 7 years ago. get over it.
