seriously? no one was expecting dempster to be any good as a starter in chicago, and he's done very well. he got 3 adequate years out of jason marquis. he got 2 serviceable years out of glendon rusch. carlos silva was literally the worst pitcher in baseball last season, and now under larry he's been very good. larry has bailed out hendry's bad moves many times. i can't see how he can be perceived as anything but an excellent pitching coach.
