Yeah. The victim shaming is getting old. I’m one of the most engaged people at a baseball game, especially when I have good seats. I’m barely ever on my phone, or paying attention to any of the other distractions going on. But I’ve taken my 4 year old and 2 year old to games and sometimes you are not going to be watching every single pitch because you are there with a toddler, or you’re checking your MLB app to see the stats of the guy warming up in the bullpen, or whatever. These things happen subconsciously, even for the most engaged fans. The nets need to be extended to the end of the infield at a minimum. They’ve done it here in Kansas City, and it doesn’t bother me a bit.
