If some bad things would actually happen to the Brewers instead of then getting every break possible I wouldn’t even mind them winning. I’ve never had anything against them until this stupid winning streak.

My freshman year at Mizzou was 2006. My roommate was a White Sox fan - one of the few real ones. It’s a good thing he is genuinely one of the nicest people I know and didn’t feel the need to rub it in too much. But all the other jackwagons on my floor were Cardinals fans, of course.

I just thought of something. The Cardinals fans probably aren't real happy with the recent WS winners. 2012 Giants (beat Cardinals) 2013 Red Sox (beat Cardinals) 2014 Giants (beat Cardinals) 2015 Royals (Missouri) 2016 Cubs (duh) 2017 Astros (old division rivals) This year will either be Red Sox or Astros again, the Dodgers (they had all that postseason BS with), or the Brewers (another big rival).

I’m rearranging my rooting order: Braves Yankees/Red Sox Dodgers Astros Brewers All these choices suck. I thought it would be relaxing the first time in forever (only the third time in 21 seasons) that both the Cubs and Cardinals were not in the real playoffs. But knowing we should have been there, and then watching the Dodgers, Astros and Brewers win has really sucked.

I’m just mad we didn’t win Monday. Freeland may have beat the VB in the WC game and we might be going to our 4th straight NLCS right now.

For anyone else with issues there is an option to use Gravatar on the drop down list instead of linking to a external link. Takes 2 minutes to set up a login for an external site which hosts a avatar image for you (and can be used on other boards that have it) using just your email. :good: Now can I update my dumb username? Yes, I know. And if we sign Harper I’m still going to be excited about it. I’m not vehemently opposed. So if you're against signing Harper then you're basically against any large contract for a significant FA. The Darvish deal can still work out and be a successful signing if he comes back healthy. Heyward was a bust. Lester has been awesome. So it's like 1 bust, 1 success and 1 incomplete right now. Being a large market team I expect us to make blockbuster signings. I will be bubbling over with enthusiasm if we sign Harper. At the same time I’ll be worrying that a freak injury like a fastball to the wrong part of the wrist will screw us big time. I probably shouldn’t say I’m against the signing, moreso I’m just worried it’s a bust, mainly due to an injury. It’s a little tongue in cheek. I called myself a fraidy cat.

bryant's strikeout in the 12th where they were obviously pitching around him to get to terrance gore was pretty bad, too. The 9th inning when Davis was trying to give us the gave but Murphy and Schwarber wouldn’t take their walk and Willy tried not to lost the game for us. Murphy yes. Schwarber got hosed though. That’s on the ump, not Schwarber.
