  1. Man if our 4th best prospect is a projected utility IFer this farm is in desperate desperate need.
  2. Quite literally half the team is traded and I feel 0% better about the current team and all the additional picks than I did about the original horsefeathers show of a team.
  3. Yikes, big yikes. Boston has a great rotation but that offense, woof....
  4. Hype me up on Ramirez and why in god's name he should be ahead of Conrad or even Alcantara? I just don't see more than like a 2nd division starter or a good bench bat, but maybe I'm wrong.
  5. Why spend 15M when you have a guy in Ballesteros who is likely to give you similar production for almost no cost? The last 3 years Suarez has put up 105, 115 and 125 wRC+. Ballesteros put up a 143 last year and while that's not realistic to expect, I don't see any reason he can't put up a 110-120.
  6. Even now there's still people calling Caleb the 5th best QB of that draft behind Maye, Daniels, Nix and Penix.
  7. Well this is a thorough ass beating by a terrible Bucks team
  8. Oh look another tear down without getting any first round draft picks so we can again rebuild into barely passable, it's such a fun cycle.
  9. My first thought was the package was underwhelming, but the more I look at it, I don't mind it. It's certainly not a homerun, but it's not terrible.
  10. Card fans were expecting a huge return of like Montes + Cijntje, I guess we'll see if they get it. If they managed to get any of Sloan, Anderson or Emerson, it was a huge win.
  11. Yeah, the score didn't indicate how badly Nebraska was outplayed.
  12. He's kind of like Deron in that he's not overly fast, athletic, etc. but he's just incredibly smooth and calm. He also appears to be getting better at an incredibly rapid rate. Even compared to where he was 2 months ago, he is significantly better.
  13. They beat two top 5 teams in the country, on the road, over the last 8 days, missing one of their starters in Kylan Boswell who averages 14.3 PPG.
  14. The lowest I've seen him projected in recent mock drafts is #7, He's pretty consistently between 5 and 7.
  15. They were terrible from 3, but like usual dominated the boards. Another huge road win for Illinois. This is a top 5 team in the nation.
  16. Speaking of, there are so many damn Christian stations on FM now in the Chicagoland area. 92.5, 94.3, 97.9, 103.9, etc. etc.
  17. This BYU vs Kansas game is fun. You have 2 of the likely top 3 draft picks in the 2026 draft going head to head in AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson.
  18. I know I should be thankful for how good Illinois is but damn if they had been able to keep the two Illinois kids in Morez-Johnson and Fears, they would have been a monster.
  19. Why would they have to pay Taillon's salary for "whatever they can get". If Taillon is a FA right now, he definitely gets the 18M he's due this year. If they ate salary I'd expect a legit prospect coming back.
  20. He's literally going to be doing all the GM stuff because Ryan has no idea how to do it, but because of title the Bears get denied 2 3rd picks, incredibly dumb
  21. Not only this but they've got guys like Rome and Wright who are, I believe, 2 years from getting paid. It makes them significantly better in next season and the season after, but I think it comes at a very high cost to anything beyond that.
  22. So just reading a bit of the tea leaves, but I feel like Framber probably got his best offer from Baltimore, but for whatever reason really really does not want to play for Balitmore so he's holding out hoping another team makes something similar. Meanwhile, if Framber doesn't end up in Baltimore, I can't see Gallen ending up anywhere but Baltimore. They'll have already whiffed on Cease and Saurez, if you add in Framber too, they can't come away entirely empty handed.
  23. It's a genuinely horrible list for about 30 different reasons. In particular I love that Pete Alonso is #33.
  24. With limited funds, I don' t like it at all unless he's somehow cheaper than Swift. RB is way low on the priority list.
  25. I can't even fathom what the cost on Wood would be but I'm pretty sure the Cub don't have the impact prospects to pull it off. Sure they could throw 4 50-150 guys at them, but for a player of that caliber you're looking for at least one truly elite prospect followed by multiple other top 150 guys.
