That is irrelevant. A loss is a loss. A move needs to be made. What the hell has Patton done for us in this seven game losing streak? Get another bat here, pronto. Of course it is, but the fact remains that the Cubs are not as bad as the losing streak suggests, just merely unlucky. As for a move, I agree if you are not going to use David Patton then stop wasting a roster spot on him. The Cubs have more then enough arms in the system to replace Patton (Shark, Gaub, Archer, Stevens, etc), so get Patton out and get another bat in.
