  1. I know it isn't "politically correct" (being as Bama fans should not respect Tennessee, vice bersa, bs) for me to say that dew, but I am definately pulling for you guys the rest of the way. Anyway Auburn can get knocked away from a postseason bid is fine with me.
  2. Berry forced that fumble. It wasn't luck, it was a good hit by Berry. It doesn't change the fact that the "fumble" was the first fumble in 322 chances for Ingram. Unless that becomes a habit for Ingram I consider that fumble an aberration, simple bad luck. And that is not a shot at Berry, cause Gawd dang I love his skillset, and I do believe he is the best safety in college. Regardless, it was good play on Berry based on desparation which equals luck, imo. No fumble there, and Tennessee is in no position to even sniff the upset. With that said, 9 of 10 times Berry doesn't stripe that ball from Ingram, I would put money on that. With that said, dew I wish the best for you guys the rest of the season.
  3. Phillies in 6. The Yanks can smash, but so can the Phillies. Not to mention the Yanks win despite Joe Girardi, and thus I think Girardi are going to give Yankees fans a new appreciation for Joe Torre after he will bungle a couple of key situations.
  4. he was always fat and he always fell over when he played for us. I'm not one for this, and gawd help me, but if Benson is still in this game I hope he gets hurt. I mean he misses 4-6 weeks hurt.
  5. Benson will go away like Saleem, Thomas, Enis, etc, etc after this season. So he better enjoy the season.
  6. as cubs fans, i don't think we really have the right to poke fun at other organizations for being unsuccessful for an extended period of time. 5 non losing/winning seasons since 1990 and one playoff appearance .v. 8 winning/non losing sason with 4 playoff appearances with one in the LCS. So yes, until the Bengals get an extended taste of success, they should still be laugh at. And right now, I ain't laughing at them, I'm laughing :rotfl: mad :banghead: at the Bears for being pansies against the Bengals.
  7. To the Bengals.....you know the LA Clippers of the NFL.......... My god Bears, you suck. Being pants'd by the Packers is one thing, but the Bengals? Seriously, this is a team that is more known for the off-the field exploits then their on-the-field expectation. Man, I hope the Bengals get demolished by the Ravens in two weeks, I really do.
  8. No offense, but the Bears REALLY need to address the secondary this offseason. Pnut and Vasher simply can't cut it anymore.
  9. Alabama needed THREE blown FG's by a 3-3 team who was starting 2 walkons and a converted TE on the offensive line and a 3rd string OLB who just got moved to the middle 3 weeks ago. They barely survived at home against a team who has lost to UCLA this season. I'd say the voters got it right, and believe me- I hate the Gators. I'm not mad at Bama moving down the polls, I'm really not, but the Vols were equally lucky to even put themselves in position to pull off the upset. Ingram fumbles for the first time in his career and the Vols capitalize on it. Good for you. Ingram doesn't fumble and the game finishes 12-3, and people are talking about how dominate Tide's d was against Vols team that put 40 points against an GA. Not to mention Florida got lucky to survive the game against Arkansas team that Bama demonlished. And Texas was "lucky" to survive Oklahoma, and blah, blah, blah. Luck is a part of sports. Not to mention: .”
  10. It really is. But I am not disappointed in Bama dropping to #2.
  11. Nah, I can think of more "annoying" things in the history of the world. And SEC fans can be pretty annoying, I'll give you that, but they are not as annoying as say Vikings fans, fans of playoffs in college football is definately more annoying the SEC fans. These "blackout" games where teams try to do this color on color unis (for instance, Mississippi State uni's against Florida, and Auburn's upcoming "Navy Nightmare") are definity more annoying. I'm proud of the fact that SEC is prolly the toughest conference to play football in, I really am
  12. agreed 100 percent. alabama is lucky they have a terrible schedule, or they'd be a 3 or 4 loss team Definitely. Alabama's offense is so horrible outside of the running game. Not horrible, but inconsistant. Alabama faced the SEC 3-4-5 in total defenses in the past three weeks, not a receipe for success, mind you. I am not making excuses for McElroy cause he hasn't played a well good or even well-rounded game since Arkansas, but Alabama stalling on offense is directed to two people: Jim McElwain and Greg McElroy. Otherwise, this break is what Bama needed and Bama will be back to breaking heads in two weeks. As for Bama having a terrible schedule.....WRONG. If Bama's schedule is terribe then what makes Florida? Bama's schedule is no worse then Texas. Alabama's schedule is just fine, thank you.
  13. y'all are also lucky that y'all played Ole Miss earlier in the season before they worked out their kinks. Ya'll so lucky that you only lost 22-3. :hello:
  14. 1: Thank EFFIN' gawd for TERRANCE "MOUNT" Cody. H ekept 6 points of the board. Bless you young man, bless you. 2: Thank gawd for the week off as Alabama definately looked weery and tired. 3: Helluva game Tennessee fans, helluva game. A game i expect in this series. The cigar I'm smoking right now is pretty sweet, but I realize how lucky Bama was in this game. Week off..............week off.......................week off......................week off.
  15. Not a chance. I'm not going to poke fun of you being a Tennessee fan, but I sit here tonight, knowing that there is a less then 2% chance of Tennessee beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa (let me put it this way, I give Mississippi St. a better chance to upset Florida then Tennessee at upsetting Bama) I expect a game similar to the one Tennessee had in Gainesville, but ultimately at around 5 pm Saturday, I am going to be doing one my favorite college football traditions: I will be lighting up a cigar.
  16. I thought Fuentes pitched out of the stretch regardless of who is on base? But I do agree with the rest of your argument that ARod should not have been walked. But when you considered that ARod has arguably been the Yankees best "clutch" hitter this postseason, I much rather take the bat out of his hand and force Matsui to beat you.
  17. Oh yeah, Mr. Selig this will really shut up those proponents of Instant Replay expansion.
  18. I had no problems with walking ARod tonight. Two outs and nobody on seemed to be the perfect time to walk him. I do have the problem with walking Matsui and hitting Cano.
  19. My guess...........Soriano, then Soto, and perhaps Fontenot. IMO, it has to be in the order for the Cubs to have a successful offense next yr.
  20. Well three straight national titles, and four titles this decade does kind of put the SEC in the "best conference" award, don't it?
  21. name the 3rd best team in the Pac 10. hell, name the 4th best SEC team. Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina? not to mention LSU.
  22. Yes, Kiffin can be an arse and still show up in those orange jersey, but it will cost his team 15 yards on the kickoff to begin both halves. I'm pretty sure CNS is the one being a doucey arse here If that is what you think, then so be it. You be wrong, but that's okay. Alabama has the right to decline it. If Alabama/Tennessee game was played a neutral site similar to GA/Florida, Texas/OU, USC/UCLA, then fine I'll be for it, but since it's NOT, Alabama has the right to deny Tennessee, just like Tennessee has the right to deny Alabama if the roles were reverse. It's not being "douchy" it's what I call keeping the competitve advantage.
  23. Yes, Kiffin can be an arse and still show up in those orange jersey, but it will cost his team 15 yards on the kickoff to begin both halves.
  24. 2010 as of right now is Lee's last yr on his contract. I wonder if the Cubs will have Vitters play some first base in 2010?
