  1. It may only last a week, especially if DeVito can't go... but it's beautiful
  2. just saw the worst roughing the passer call in ATL-TB...
  3. stupid Hawkeye
  4. He's a garbage player who is playing because we made no effort to get good WRs for our young QB
  5. You know... you obviously want to win the games, but all things considered, you saw some signs from Fields that he can continue improving and make plays. If you can rack up some losses, you get more ammo to get actual good players to surround him.
  6. woulda been nice to have an XP rather than that trash 2 pt try earlier...
  7. liked that throw against the blitz
  8. gonna come back... but man is Fields electric in the open field
  9. what a terrible flag
  10. looked like Smith hit Mooney early there... yep, on replay he's definitely all over Mooney's arm before the pass gets there
  11. Showing signs of life...
  12. It would be awfully hard to make a better throw there...
  13. Judging by the first half, I think you'll break even.
  14. Olave or Wilson? Any of them. Victor in 2019 is the only 6'3"+ target of any significance he had at WR at Ohio State. No, his targets at OSU weren't particularly big, but they were far more talented than your average college DB, where the talent differences are much more pronounced. He could throw deep ball after deep ball last year from clean pockets and Wilson, Olave, and Smith-Njigba (who I would lvoe the Bears to pick next year) would either dust their DB and be wide open, or were good enough athletes to GUAGI
  15. He is a lot of fun and I want him to play for the Cubs for a long time. Hopefully as a bench player who plays around 100 games all over the field.
  16. Miles Robinson? or Antonee? I think both might be the actual answer. Playing Dest on the left did not work. Although when Scally came on he at least put in some good work trying to get forward. Miles. On Musah, having a mid who can hold the ball under pressure is hugely valuable. Musah is a beast. Hoping that he is healthy, because I think the WC could be quite the coming out party for him now that he is getting to play centrally for Valencia instead of on the wing.
  17. Yep. This has been the Gregg norm. We just have to hope we summon the results when it matters like we did in nations league and the gold cup. Beating Mexico in two finals has overshadowed the fact that his teams have been clunky in the attack since day one and it hasn’t really progressed much from there. One thing is for sure, either yunus and miles Robinson are way better than we think (and I think they are very good), or this is just a typical Gregg stretch. Can’t wait for the next cycle already. I might be going joker mode for this World Cup and just root for max chaos for my team. Miles Robinson? or Antonee? I think both might be the actual answer. Playing Dest on the left did not work. Although when Scally came on he at least put in some good work trying to get forward.
  18. They can't score, and most of our quality attacking players are apparently held together with toothpicks and bubblegum
  19. The important thing is... which Giants WRs will get to go against Vildor and Gordon so I can pick them for DFS?
  20. Really missed Musah... but Adams and McKennie were giving the ball away left and right
  21. Rizzo's probably the best piece in either of those lineups, with Happ probably 2nd. But then I would take (what we thought they were or might be in 2012) Castro, Castillo and maybe even DeJesus and Valbuena before another 2022 Cub. Shoot, even LaHair had played at an All-Star level in the first half, and the 2nd best hitter in the Cubs lineup yesterday (Bote? Higgins? McKinstry?) hasn't even come close to that. And Darwin Barney was at least very good defensively (or at least had that reputation... going back that far it's hard to remember his actual defensive performance.
  22. [tweet] [/tweet]
  23. I'm not sure it did... did you see Santos' two XP attempts?
  24. LOL. Tell me you don't care about winning the game without telling me you don't care about winning the game. Lovie!
  25. Why was that not intentional grounding? He was out of the pocket, but the receiver was like 5 yards away at best and it was way short of the LOS
