That's about as fun as the Tarris Reed stat from college basketball... he played 4 years in college, from 2022-23 thru 25-26, split equally between Michigan and then UConn. Those teams won 3 of 4 titles while he was in college. He was on none of those 3 title-winning teams.

I don't care about either. I just want to see good baseball being played by the Cubs. If one or both of those helps that happen, then sign me up I guess. The players deserve a bigger slice of the pie, for sure. And any owner that refuses to spend a reasonable amount of money should be shamed and forced to sell their team, since they're all wildly rich and only getting richer off the backs of others, many (maybe most?) of whom come from disadvantaged situations.

It's fun having young hitters to be excited about... it's not 2014 with Bryant and Baez and the like, but it's fun to see Hartshorn performing like this at such a young age -
You're just being intentionally dense at this point. Pete is clearly not getting the results we hope for, but hitting the ball hard repeatedly, and taking walks!, is a good thing

I know it has been argued back and forth that, whether accumulated on offense or defense, all WAR is equal. But after watching the Cubs offense every year post-2016, I refuse to believe it. A bunch of average offensive players who are great defensively are not as valuable as a bunch of great hitters who are average defensively.

Trade deadline position: Buyers.
