  1. Well, I'd say this more or less takes the Cubs out on Correa, and maybe Bogaerts. Correa is surely getting a similar contract, and XB could get one slightly lower, both of which seem too high for Poor Tom Ricketts
  2. Rodgers is the biggest dbag. Honestly, he wasn't all that good today, even against a terrible Bears D. The run game carried him.
  3. Jones just completely fooled on that TD
  4. Sanborn might be a decent player. He doesn't look out of place out there. Solid tackler, hasn't been killed in coverage that i've noticed.
  5. just nothing resembling a pass rush
  6. Santos and the ST trying to take command of the tank
  7. We need fullbacks who actually defend with more than speed (Jedi recovers well, but doesn't mark well), healthy CBs, and a striker who can put the ball in the back of the net. But there's a lot of promise and opportunity for growth. Finding a way to get Reyna, Weah, Pulisic, Aaronson on the field with MMA would be great, but idk how you do that. Hoping to see some attacking threats emerge.
  8. if we get one before 60, this gets interesting. If Netherlands score again, it's over
  9. Tenorio says Reyna is out warming up on the field. Hope he has some magic. We've got to get some kind of creativity in and around the box. Put something on goal and see what happens. Just try some horsefeathers.
  10. Honestly, since Gregg isn't going to play anyone up top that isn't a "Striker" on the official roster, there's nowhere to put him. The 11 is built around MMA, you're not going to take off Pulisic, and Weah has been really dangerous over and over. Now, when we see our midfield and/or Weah get tired, we should see subs earlier, and they should be Reyna and Aaronson - Aaronson first if we have a lead, Reyna if we are tied or behind. I'd prefer to give the ball to the guy who starts for Dortmund and dribbles like Maradona. Don't care about position. It's the coach's job to make it happen. Oh I agree, it's just not going to happen with Gregg

  12. Hot take: Edwards is probably a better RB anyway. Of course, you'd love to have both
  13. off a baffling "clearance" from Borjan on first glance, I thought he forgot that Canada was wearing red and was making a pass
  14. suck it, Mexico!
  15. TT’s recs are good. Grant Wahl has also been doing great stuff on his substack. 16. What does this mean? xG is essentially how many goals would be expected given the historical results of the shots taken. Penalties are worth .76 xG because of the rate they're converted, shots in close are worth more xG than those from distance, etc.
  17. 4 and 16 from Seattle would be awesome if we could manage that. Maybe we'd have to swap 3rds or something, but that would likely give us our choice of whoever remains between Anderson and Carter and an OT, then we could maybe go WR (Addison?) with 16.
  18. I am convinced he ruptured a nut
  19. Boy, Weah couldn't have been offside by more than an inch or two
  20. Amazing goal... may not have any kids to tell about it though...
  21. Nah, let Love play and hopefully perform well enough to make GB think he's their guy, then hope he tanks next year.
  22. What a terrible trade the Vuc deal is turning out to be...
  23. Was kicking around a thought that maybe the Bears could trade 2 with maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder (not sure what the actual value chart would say) for the Lions picks (say they end up at 6 and 11) picking one of Carter, Anderson, Murphy, or whichever top OT you like at 6 then trading down from 11 for a late 1 and recoup that other pick sent to Detroit plus more and grab a WR late 1.
  24. Crazy goal from Morocco. Hard to believe Courtois got beat like that.
  25. Got a huge boost by being on Black Friday in November. Stick that game on June 20th or whatever and it's still widely watched, but I bet plenty of casuals watched because it was US-England and they were being lazy at home the day after Thanksgiving
