I like Wilson and I know there's a user on here who has been championing for him all offseason. I do wonder what the cost would be. Tigers got him last year for Chad Green and Luis Cessa, who are both intriguing arms and will likely be on the Yankees' 25 man next year.
It is interesting that's the tweet he sends out, rather than something like "Fowler signing with Cardinals, set to take physical" Also: [tweet]https://twitter.com/williamfleitch/status/807017393318981632[/tweet]
Lol, I just noticed the Red Sox took Josh Rutledge in the Rule 5 today. They had him the last two years and outrighted him off the roster last month. He signed a minor league deal with the Rockies. Now the Red Sox take him back a few weeks later.
So the Rockies are planning on Desmond being 1B, when he is a better defender than Gonzalez. Ok........ Also, remember when they gave Parra a three year deal last year? You'd have to think another trade is coming somewhere.
I love the idea of Davis in the pen. I'm just hesitant to give up a valuable trade chip for one year of a reliever. Maybe we can sell them on Clifton's good year?
In LOLMets fashion, after bidding against themselves and giving up Dilson Herrera at the deadline, they're trying to find someone to take Jay Bruce off their hands now.
Random trade thoughts. Who says no? Cubs get: Foltynewicz, Shae Simmons Braves get: Candelario, Tseng, DJ Wilson Then: Cubs get: Kelvin Herrera Royals get: Soler, Clifton, P. Johnson
