    Nope. Zero. Fanbase would lose their minds. He is their ace and they're probably losing Cueto after this season. Plus I'm not sure I'd give up what it would cost to get him. Probably all of Schwarber, Happ, Eloy, Cease, and more. But.....that said.....thoughts on seeing what the Mets want for deGrom?

    I like Norris a lot. Fulmer too. But Fulmer would cost a ton. They have no incentive to trade him right now.

    Julie DiCaro was tweeting a source said Cubs and Tigers have had some serious discussions on Verlander, FWIW. Just take him and Avila and Justin Wilson and give em Candelario and Caratini and Cease and whoever else.

    What would it take to get Folty and Susuki (plus a reliever maybe?) from Atlanta? I've liked Folty for some time and Suzuki has good defensive numbers, no? Plus he's not useless with a bat.

    The Yankees have also seen Bird, Austin and Holliday hit the DL, with Gleybar done for the year and Headley and Carter underperform badly. I think they're looking for help at the corners. Not sure that means anything for us unless we can convince them to trade us Pineda for Candelario lol. What are the odds of: Seattle: Paxton or Miranda Philly: Pivetta, Eickhoff, Velesquez, Lively Thinking of guys under control who shouldn't cost as much. Still want to target a Shark or Gray but it wouldn't hurt to add one of these guys too.

    Derek Norris just got released. Any chance we pick him up to go to Iowa now? Seems like they'd want to add another catcher to the mix at least.

    There were still a lot questions entering the season but I didn't expect them to be this bad. Basically all their good young SPs took a step back this year and Franco and Herrera have looked lost at the plate.

    My friend who's a Phillies fan is convinced someone is gonna give them a couple of really good prospects for Jeremy Hellickson. Hellickson has a 3.6 (!) K/9 this year. Yesterday he gave up 7 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks through 5 innings and now has a 5.49 FIP. Probably should keep dreaming, buddy. Really surprised the Phillies didn't trade him last year at the deadline.

    I'd say Alex Gordon is having a forgettable season: .175 .294 .212 .505 with no homers and just 5 extra base hits (all doubles) through 39 games.
