I guess this shows JH isn't the only one who likes players who can drive in runs with their glove. Seriously, compared to what Gonzalez is about to get, DeRosa was a slightly better bargain. -
It could be fictional. I doubt the Marlins would give up Willis for just that.

My roommate said someone on the YES Network board heard on ESPN Radio that the Yanks and Marlins are discussing a Humberto Sanchez and Melky Cabrera for Dontrelle Willis swap. I don't how reliable the source is so I'm taking this with a grain of salt, but I just thought I'd post it anyway.

Both Koyie Hill and Ben Howard MIGHT be interesting to follow, but it depends on what they do in Spring Training. Is that the same John Webb that was with the Cubs a few yrs back? Yes, same John Webb. I always liked him.

Yes, please regarding Lee or Westbrook. They are both reliable AL pitchers and I think they would be just as good or better in the NL.

I'm not surprised by Verlander. I thought it would go to Uggla or Zimmerman, but Ramirez did have a fine season.

As a New Jersian, and having rooted for Rutgers for awhile despite how much they have sucked, I am thoroughly enjoying this win. I joked with my roommate that if Rutgers wins, I'd dance around State College in celebration. Derwood would have recognized me as the idiot screaming up and down College Ave. :D I'd have to be drunk to go through with that. Congrats to Rutgers.

Drew is a very nice player when healthy, but he still strikes me as a big injury risk. If he can stay healthy, I would love him in our outfield. -
I can hear the 24 clock going in my head as I count down the time til the deadline. I also feel like I'm building myself up for a letdown.
